Charles Thomas Cocchiola Jr. started this company 15 years ago with the intentions of giving people a worry free home remodeling experience with exceptional attention to detail. 25 years of real field experience in many aspects of construction helps to keep jobs flowing from trade to trade. My knowledge with foundation work straight thru to painting helps foresee any upcoming problems and strives to guarantee each field's work is done to the highest standards.

"For years my wife and I scratched and saved every penny we could in order to redo our house into the home we always wanted. In the beginning of 2020, we decided it was time. We got a few estimates and then found Charles, who in the beginning seemed to be the contractor you always wanted. Attentive, decently price, had the answers, and showed pictures of quality work. In March we broken ground, and again, in the beginning of the project it was going great. Framing and siding was great. Work was being done, Charles was on scene, and in touch every day. ****, we even had a few happy hours at the end of the workday. Then things began to fall apart. Charles for whatever reason, started to become overwhelmed. His attitude, more specifically with my wife, began to become nasty. The work not only slowed but became sloppy and filled with short cuts. Charles went from the contractor with all the answers, to the man with every excuse possible. The excuses piled up and the work came to a standstill. But Charles still wanted his money, even when projects were not completed. But like I said, we had a good relationship, so we paid him for the tile work, even though the kitchen was not tiled yet, and we paid when he asked for the molding payment, even though all the molding was not done. Unfortunately we trusted Charles, and his promise that it would get done with in the week. As our 3–4 month project enter its 6th month with no real energy from Charles to complete his work, he again started to ask for more money. I finally said no. No more money until things that were paid for are finished or fixed (and there were a lot). A reasonable request. This is when the real Charles came out. The arrogance and refusal to acknowledge that what was going on was his fault. Charles refused to come to complete my house, and in December sent a text message to my wife asking to be released from his contract. He has never returned He left my house a danger zone for three young kids. There were electric issues that if left alone would have caused a fire, plumbing issues that could have flooded my house, a crumbling foundation and at least 30,000 dollars worth of unfinished work or work that needed to be redone. Message me privately and I will gladly show pictures and more to the story. What I have realized, is the things my wife and I loved in beginning of our project were done by people other than Charles. A framing company framed our house. Siding was done by siding company. Charles only does molding when his uncle is working. His cousin paints (terribly). I can go on and on but will end with this truth; eventually you figure out that Charles is a bundle of nerves and cannot complete work without other people's confidence. So consumer beware, if you're looking for a big project do not look here for a contractor."

"Terrible, I paid $8,000 for a motorized awning. I ordered the awning before last summer started. It was delivered in July and not installed until late September (sat on my lawn), so we were not able to use the awning last summer. I accepted this as a result of COVID. I went to use the awning for the first time this year a few weeks ago and it jammed and would not open. I called and was told to send a video which I did on April 20th. My repeated calls and texts have gone unanswered. I will now have to pay another contractor to repair the awning. Very disappointing experience."

We are a company owned by a latin family, and we are hard workers by nature. We have more than 15 years experience in all about construction and building. There is no job to small or too big that we cannot do.

"Terrible! Stay away from Erick Sosa! Seemed decent but did, awful, cheap sloppy work. It cost me money to fix all his lazy mistakes. Be smart and hire a reputable company, not this cheap, "pay me cash" laborer. I learned my lesson."

Windows questions, answered by experts

Awning windows can have screens, but it depends on your manufacturer. If your awning window does have a screen, it will be on the interior side so it doesn’t get in the way when you crank the window open. Having the screen on the inner part of the window also makes it easier to clean from inside your home.

Costs depend on window type, size, labor rates, and any structural modifications needed.

Yes, every window needs a lintel. The lintel is necessary for redistributing the load above the window to the walls around the window. Windows aren’t meant to support a load, so lintels are an important part of a window installation. If you go to replace your windows and discover there are no lintels, you may need a window company or structural engineer to install lintels for your new windows.

Window washing usually refers to cleaning dirt and other debris off of the exterior of your windows, while window cleaning is a much more involved process that addresses the outside and inside of the glass, as well as the interior components. Window washing is more to improve the aesthetic of your windows, while window cleaning can improve performance, reduce the risk of damage over time, and even improve your home’s energy efficiency.

Bow windows need support because they are large and extend out from the exterior wall of the home. Bow windows may extend 1 foot to several feet from the outside of the home, so you’ll need to provide additional support to handle this weight. A window contractor will be able to provide the proper amount of support for your new bow window.
