I felt so comfortable with the crew that I left the house open and went and did some errands. The men doing the staining went beyond painting and nailed in loose boards. Interior ceiling repair came out fantastic - you can't tell where the damaged areas were. "Drake and Vincent did a fantastic job sanding the treads, the banister, and the landing of my staircase! The staircase has an elegant design so it was crucial that the sanding be done by highly skilled and detailed oriented carpenters: Drake and Vincemnt both proved to be just that! The staircase looks amazing! Throughout the whole process they were reliable and knowledgeable, and they kept me posted on how the project was going from start to finish. "So - So! The overall project was just okay but not fantastic. We went with DeRisio even though he was more expensive because he seemed to know what he was talking about. At the end of the project, the brick work on the front of the building still has mortar stains although they claim they acid washed it several times. They replaced a brick door sill with a something they bent out of aluminum trim material. After repeated requests to fix it, they offered to put in a slate sill. I said that would be okay. Well, over one year later, it still isn't done. They replaced an exterior door that hasn't latched properly from the day it was installed. Great guys - but lousy workmanship. I wouldn't have them back."
