Painting Interior and Exterior. Kevin and his son Richard work side by side. Kevin has owned the business for over 15 years and has been in the painting industry for 36 years. Richard is a former educator who has helped his father out every summer since he was 16. Three years ago Richard left teaching to help Kevin build and operate the business. The Herington's build their business around three main ideas: Integrity, Professionalism, and hard work. They provide free estimates and are fully insured. I would not hire them again. The work was unacceptably sloppy and I have real doubts about how long it will last/hold up. In addition, when I tracked them down to try to get them to finish the last of the work (months after they'd finished most of it), I was treated more rudely and unprofessionally than I have ever been treated by any contractor I've worked with in 35+ years.

"[Member Name Removed], It's unfortunate you had such a terrible experience. I wish in your review you would have mentioned that due to weather we had to come back in the spring. We had to come back to address a storm window that wasn't installed correctly and during our pressure washing it fell out. We were kind enough to replace that at no cost to you. The edges of that storm window and a paint drip that we overlooked were the only areas that needed addressing. I find the comment we were sloppy a little dramatic and unrealistic as I feel you would have mentioned that back in the fall after we completed 97.5% of the project. If there was a website for reviewing customers sir you would be the top of our list for please do not work with this guy."

We just had the exterior of our house painted by Herington Painting and they did a wonderful job! Ric and Kevin were on-site at 7:30 am sharp every day along with their crew. They were courteous, tidy and made sure we were completely happy with the job. We highly recommend them.

Herington Painters did a fantastic job, and so quick! Other companies quoted me a higher price and a longer wait. Ric scheduled me right away, and had my whole upstairs painted in a day once he started. Better yet, he was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Herington Painting. They were quick to come out and give us a quote and then fit us into their schedule quickly. We have very high ceilings & had some dark walls and had them painted a light color and it came out great. I also had them paint the staircase trim and railings which was a job I was not looking forward to doing myself. They finished the job on schedule, their quality of work was excellent, and the price was very fair. I would highly recommend their work.
