"I’m so happy with the job the guys did. I had to have two tree stumps ground out before the work could be done. The tree stump guys broke my fence gate, and turns out they left one stump in the ground which I couldn’t see under the mess they left. Jason and his crew were able to get the stump out, remove an old slate patio, and create a beautiful new extended patio for me. I had jokingly pointed out a pile of slate chips in my backyard that were an eyesore. When they finished up that day, I saw that Jason had pushed down the pile of chips so they are no longer visible from my yard, and they fixed my fence gate! Such nice guys, all of them. Thank you for my beautiful patio!"

Therefore, chip seal driveway only works if the traffic volume is extremely low. Chip seal is also less resistant to storms and hails. As impact builds up, the chips may become misplaced, creating an uneven driving surface that sometimes becomes hazardous and may damage your tires or cause your vehicle to lose balance.

In general, water-based driveway sealers are considered the most eco-friendly option. Products that utilize water, limestone, and some basic binding agents have lower VOC levels and odor levels compared to sealants made with oil or tar. In recent years, soy-based driveway sealers have become available for homeowners who want fully VOC-free driveway sealers.
