Excellent! The office manager was very easy to work with and schedule the job. The crew came while we were at work and had everything finished and looking great. Job site left very neat. Very reasonable charge for sealing the driveway.

Our old driveway was loose stone and had water runoff coming from the road. We were told the pavers would create a rise to divert the water. This wasn't done. After one year we had some heaving to the edges and lower area of the blacktop, mainly where the water would pool. They returned and repaired the driveway. Our driveway has been cut into for the repair and is now starting to break apart on the edges of the repair. We are currently looking for a quality paver to fix the issues.

We interviewed and received estimates from three blacktop and drainage professionals in the local area. One was hugely over priced and the other two were pretty comparable, with Alex Cole being slightly higher. It basically came down to our confidence in the experience of the workers and how they explained what they were going to do for our project. Tim was an absolute pelasure to work with and Renee in their office was very helpful.
The crew came out on a Thursday for the prep work and laid the pavement, sealed the driveway and completed most of the drainage work on Friday. They waited about 1 and a half weeks to do the final grading and seeding of the lawn where they did the drainage work to allow the ground to settle first.
The only reason that I couldn't give them a full and quot;Aand quot; was that I think they could have been more proactive in explaining why they were waiting to finish the final grading/lawn repairs. When I came home Friday night and found the lawn still torn up I was a bit dismayed as I had assumed based on our previous conversations that the work would by 100% complete Friday night. No note was left behind to explain and I had to wait until Monday to find out what was going on. Their answer satisfied me and when they came to complete the work they were very quick and efficient. I would definitely use them again.

It was a good experience. It has held up fine. They were professional.

Alex Cole did a very good job for us. The pavers arrived at 7 am and got right to work, finishing the job by 12:30 pm the same day. During the course of the job the number of people working on our driveway varied from two to nine, and they seemed well-organized with all the right machinery on-site at the right time. The foreman, Tim, was easy to deal with and responsive. When we noticed a slight pooling of water on our driveway during the first rainstorm a few days later, they quickly returned and re-rolled that portion. The grading in that section is now better, although still not perfect.
