"I would strongly advise against using RainPro in Massapequa. We scheduled a $50 winterization service and called ahead to let them know we wouldn't be home. They told us it was fine to leave the check under the mat and confirmed the total would be $50. Afterward, we received a bill for $4.31 in tax. When I called to clarify, the person on the phone was incredibly rude and defensive. He refused to come pick up the tax and insisted we mail another check, with no apology or explanation for not including it in the original quote. He also implied that he should've charged us more and "couldn't believe" I was even asking for clarification. The principle is simple: if you're quoting a customer a price, give the full amount including tax, and communicate clearly. Dealing with rude, unprofessional people over a few dollars is not worth it. Avoid this company at all costs. "

"This landscaper is ONLY a gardener and a pretty poor one at that. He killed all my plants, moving them from the front to the back property line because he didn't have his men dig it up properly. No root ball. He doesn't know how to PRUNE plants either. He did a "fall cleanup" without getting all the leaves, and or debris, leaving wood chips underneath trees, because he was too lazy to do it, and failed to place LIME on the grass. PISS POOR gardener. NASTY man, who also STOLE my tools, and failed to return them. They used them while transplanting these now dead trees. SHAME ON THIS LANDSCAPING COMPANY. NOT A LANDSCAPER.
