We had a massive project in front of us, as our existing back patio and front porch (circa 1957) was a crumbling mess of concrete. We had multiple contractors come in for estimates, and most of them told us that the scope of work was too much for them to handle, and others came in with astronomical estimates. Being fairly new to the Hudson Valley, this made us uneasy on whether we would ever get this done? When Sergio Jr accompanied with his dad came, their demeanor was with complete confidence, respectful and with a smile. Every aspect was explained to us from start to finish. The work started, and finished in exactly 9 days, as we added more projects on like an additional walkway, as well as shoring up the footings on our rear deck. They live up to their company name, “At Ease!” I had to fill in an in ground pool (18’ x 38’) Paul assisted/represented me w/my local municipality which had strict guidelines for residential fill, but offered no leads as to various quarries, soil testing companies and was frequently non communicative. Paul was THERE every step of the way with rapid responses, finding appropriate quarries, managed the soil testing procedures and submitted them, chose special lighter/smaller excavation equipment due to the precarious entry to my back yard and extra protective measures for our driveway. He made a complicated project simple for ME! When he couldn’t personally be on site, he was in regular communication with them (and me) and would inevitably stop by each day to see the progress made that day. G&R stained the entire deck by hand (including the lattice work). Gave me a good price and stayed with that price. The deck was 35 years old, but you couldn't tell by looking at it now.
