"We had three companies call us back. Company 1 met with us to discuss our wishes and drew a rough sketch of the proposed work. They said they would work up a more detailed drawing and e-mail it to us for review. A few days later the sales rep sent a text asking if we had a chance to look at his proposal. I said we never received the drawing and perhaps it was sent to the wrong e-mail address. I confirmed my e-mail address and was told that he would correct and resend. I never heard back from them. Company 2 met with us to discuss our wishes. We ended the meeting with the expectation that they would send me a formal proposal. I never heard from them at all so they were even less responsive than Company 1. Fortunately Universal Unlimited called us also. Universal Unlimited (Hector Marmol the owner) wasn't the first to respond to our project request but his was the most responsive. We set up a meeting. Hector Marmol (the owner) listened to our wants and used his PC to create a rendering of the proposed deck based on our talking points. We also inquired about PVC fencing for a future date. Hector gave us a very attractive price for a bundled package of decking and fencing. We accepted although I was a little hesitant because most of his reviews were for fencing. I'm glad we made the decision since the final results were exceptional. Props to Jose Salguero who did most of the work."

"Very pleased with Ben’s work. I thought it was a small job; only 3 slats that needed to be replaced. He quoted me a price which was under what I expected. He then surveyed the shed and found 2 more slats that needed to be replaced and he didn’t alter his price. His work was top notch. He even fixed a slat that was loose on my house. Ben did an excellent job with the repairs and the cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend him for any job large or small."

"The Cruz Brothers were true professionals and craftsmen. Against a terrible backdrop with absurd inflation and supply chain bottlenecks, they were able to deliver a total backyard renovation in the targeted 3.5 months (some of which was unusable time to do winter). They did a fantastic job and all along the way were helpful in accommodating changes we jointly determined would be positive enhancements. They were always very responsive and keen to not sound like they were trying to steer us to add to the project – often being candid about how expensive certain things were becoming versus what they were used to (again, because of a broken post-Covid world when it comes to supply and commodity costs). In the many months since, they have checked in periodically to make sure everything is OK. We are very very happy with how everything worked out."

"I have had multiple projects with Angel. First was a bathroom, half bath with very tight space was supposed to be converted in to full. What was important to use every inch of bathroom to have maximum space around everything. Angel worked to my entire satisfaction, he gives good ideas and also address your concern and ideas. More recently, he did my whole downstairs remodeling, which included patio doors, windows, recessed lights, herringbone plank flooring over concrete, shifting of baseboard and other associated work. Presently, I am waiting for some windows to be delivered and I will try to get him again. I refered him to my family, and almost all of them have had some work in their house done by Angel."
