"C&J did an incredible job completely gutting and remodeling our 1895 farmhouse. This was a huge 8-month job with the variety of complications and required changes an old house can throw at you; throughout the process Craig and Jerry offered excellent design suggestions, collaborated very well with our architects, worked diligently to stay on budget, and each day demonstrated craftsmanship and professionalism of the highest level. C&J’s team of subcontractors and designers are excellent too. These people are the best the building trade has to offer: conscientious, skilled, creative, and a pleasure to work with. "Having to go through water problems in a basement is stressful but I am so glad I went with this company. Every person I interacted with was competent and professional. Larry was my first point of contact and he was incredibly knowledgeable and contacted me regularly to check in. I had scheduled multiple quotes but Larry sold me instantly because of his knowledgeable and straightforward communication. Todd, the owner, was so kind and you can tell how thorough he is about the work he does. He took the time to explain things to me and even catch things outside their job scope to make me aware of. He was incredibly fair with the pricing of the job. Nick and Dave were the two I interacted with the most because they did a majority of the labor. They were the best. They were respectful and knowledgeable. They took a lot of time to keep me updated and offer guidance for the long term care of my home. Having them working in my home never felt inconvenient. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

"The project went really well. The builder communicated clearly at each step of the way and was open to substitutions. We opted for a different brand of decking besides what they usually use and our requests were nicely accommodated. The workers came when they said they would and completed the project on-time and left our property as they found it. The porch and deck look awesome!
