Our company began as a decorative concrete pool surrounds company in 1984. Back then, the company, known as Concrete Concepts, was run by the Presidents father. For years he worked alongside his father learning the ins and outs of the industry. In 2007, the company moved into the market of full pool installations in the states of North and South Carolina. By 2015 the company got passed from father to son. The president became heavily involved in the fiberglass pool market and in 2017 he decided to completely change the direction of the company and focus fully on pool installations. In 2018 the company underwent a name change to Oasis Pool & Spa. Oasis Pool & Spa strives as a whole to surpass industry standards and maintain exceptional professionalism throughout the company. Creating a personal paradise for every client will remain the goal throughout the life of the ever-growing company.

Our commitment to provide each customer with quality products, personal attention, and after the sale, service has made us a leader in the swimming pool industry. "The project manager Dana was a joke, all she was worried about was getting the 57K once she had that she could care less what went on. I would not agree to pay all upfront- 50% and 50% on completion or they will do a poor job. They broke our fence and have not repaired it- it was a new fence and they hit it in 2 places in one area they bent the pole- nothing was even said about the damage until I brought it up- we were double charged for the concrete and when I asked for documentation they could not seem to produce it or even answer my concerns. We held back $500 because of the damage and threated not to complete the pool closing or give us the cover- which is valued at a lot more. Again 57K is in their pocket already-$500 does not really seem like much at all. They left a mess in the back yard and in our garage, the pool is not level it rides up on one side. I would NEVER recommend them to ANYONE. FInd another pool company these guy are really bad."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

Check with your local laws, which might state that you have to build a fence around your plunge pool. If you have children or pets or live in an area with abundant wildlife, you should consider building a fence around your pool for safety. Pools can present a drowning hazard, and while plunge pools are not very deep, younger children can get hurt if they try to dive into them. A fence can help protect your family and visitors from injury.

Small animals, particularly rats and mice, like to burrow inside pool heaters. To keep them out, seal any entry points with caulk or steel wool. Then, place mothballs inside or around your pool heater. As a final measure of protection, you can cover the pool heater in hardware cloth or wood paneling to further block entry points.

Evaporation causes up to 70% of outdoor pools’ energy losses, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. While you can’t completely prevent evaporation, different types of pool covers can help a lot. Pool enclosures, however, don’t do much to stop evaporation—and the cost to build a pool enclosure likely won’t tempt you to try.

Increases living space and adds value to the home through enhanced utility.

If you don’t have the budget for one, there are numerous ways to warm up your pool without a heater. You can improve the insulation, use solar covers to trap heat from the sun, or even let a black hose sit in the sun until it heats up and delivers fresh, warm water straight to your pool.
