"The initial meeting to measure and discuss the window treatments went very well.  Chris of ABC Windows and his father have been in the business for at least thirty years first in the Bronx and now in Tuckahoe, NY. 
He was very knowledgeable about the area and the surrounding buildings and the nature of the light that my co-op receives.  I arranged for a visit to his shop where in a matter of a few hours I made my selections.  He guided me to the fabric and shade choices that enabled me to make a decision in one visit.  It was approximately six weeks from the date of my selection to the final installation.  Due to availability of materials there were two installations.  I am very happy with the results and would use them again if and when the need arises.

"Made an appt. with Castle Rep, James, for 17 windows and vinyl siding. He spent 1 hour talking about how great his company and windows are before finally getting down to the issue. We were told that CASTLE makes and services their own window, with all the best technology and technicians available. The price per window for energy efficient came out to over $1,200 per double-hung window! And since they make their own products, we could not find a way to compare quality and price with other manufacturers. But his per-window price exceeds the average price of $500-700 by A LOT! When we balked, he made a call to his "manager" to see if we qualified for a "special promotional" discount. If we were to commit right there on the spot, we would get an additional 10% off! Still way to high. We said we would think about it (he got sad and snippy), and that we wanted to hear about the vinyl siding quote before we made any decisions. He told us he could not give us a siding quote until his company did an "eagle view" measurement, which would require another appointment! We had no intention of sitting through ANOTHER high-pressure appointment. High pressure, long-drawn out presentation and he would not leave us with anything in writing! No brochures, prices, nothing! He refused to put anything in writing and we could not have a break down of labor and costs. I even asked him if I could have a copyhh of the window warranty and he said "only if you purchase right now." And they did not come prepared with references or previous job locations! When we further researched the company, we found they did make very excellent products, but the #1 complaint was by far that they did not honor their lifetime warranty and that customer service was horrible. In the end, we chose not to do business.."

"The project took about 7 hrs. Luis vargas and Moses his associate removed and replaced bathroom vanity with new vanity and faucet, however they didn't do a proper leek test and consequently there was water leakage and some minor damage to thei nterior of the vanity and under the vanity.i called Luis Vargas and told him about the leek he said that he would come the next day,he never did and he made no attempt to notify me that he wasn't coming. The job was done on 7/10/25 ,he was to come back to correct the leek on 7/12/25 ;When I texted him on 7/12/25 he apologized and said he got involved in another job and it ran late; However he never came back. On 7/13/25 I reinstalled the faucet myself."
