Small jobs welcome

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Josue for some much-needed pool repairs, and I am thoroughly impressed! From the moment he arrived, his expertise was evident. He quickly diagnosed the issues and explained the repair process in a way that was easy to understand. His attention to detail and commitment to quality work really stood out. Not only was he punctual and professional, but he also went above and beyond to ensure everything was functioning perfectly before he left. My pool looks great, and I can't wait to enjoy it next summer! I highly recommend Josue for anyone in need of pool repairs—he's definitely the go-to !"

"Rather than fix the issue the first 2 calls, more refrigerant was pumped into the system. This cost me $75 for each call plus the cost of the refrigerant. The 3rd time, they fixed a valve and refilled the refrigerant and I am monitoring to see if this really fixed the problem. So I am out $225 for service calls fro the same problem and the cost of the refrigerant. I think they take this approach intentionally."

"Sales person was knowledgeable and promised to schedule the date with me and the electrician. I had to keep asking for the date once the month came and went and did not hear back. Finally got scheduled for a date which was missed several times and found out only because I took the initiative to ask a day before. I had to provide my electrician's contact info 3 times and he was notified only a day before it was scheduled. After my electrician showed up they could only do 1/2 work as the pool guys were still working. Later my electrician verified it worked after pools guys were gone."

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

Yes, air baths are good for you. They promote relaxation, improve circulation, and can even hydrate your skin. Since they’re gentler than water jets and whirlpools, they are a good choice for a wide range of homes and users, from children to adults. You can maximize the benefits by using them regularly for stress relief and by pairing the bubble effects with calming music, low lighting or chronotherapy, aromatherapy, and other relaxation techniques.

Vinegar can be used as an all-purpose cleaner for many things, including hot tub filters. Soaking hot tub filters in vinegar and water for up to 24 hours can remove dirt and oil, and as a bonus, it won’t cause the water to foam after you reinstall it if there’s vinegar left on it. But make sure you still rinse it to remove any debris, dirt, or grime stuck on it.

Hot tub maintenance can cost between $500 and $1,000 annually. These costs typically cover deep cleaning the tub, refilling it several times a year, and maintaining the water's chemical balance. While you can perform maintenance yourself, a professional can clean and treat your hot tub with chemicals to save you time. The biggest expenses are often heating and repairs, but regular maintenance can help you avoid more complicated and costly repairs and preserve your investment.

You can drain a hot tub very quickly by using a submersible pump rather than the hose-sized drain at the bottom exterior of the tub. A pump can move up to 30 gallons per minute, draining your hot tub in no time. Using the regular drain can take up to two hours.

Many people find saltwater tubs worth the upfront expense. They cost less to maintain than traditional hot tubs, so you can save in the long term. Maintenance is also easier, typically involving balancing the pH and cleaning the tub rather than adding chemicals. They’re also gentler on sensitive skin, and you won’t walk away with a strong chlorine odor.
