"Father & son team polished our kitchen marble countertops that were quite dull and had not been done for 7 years. They taped everything off and we’re very neat. Marble looks like new! You will not be disappointed.👍"

Small jobs welcome

"Work that is beyond my expectations! I had chips along the edges of my coutertop. Bryan was able to fill those with matching epoxy and sand it to create a smooth surface and I was stunned by the result (See before and after pictures below). He also applied silicone under my sink to keep water out. Bryan was courteous, honest, and very professional, and I would highly recommand his company A1 Stone Care to anyone who is looking for that type of work. He also offered and after-service care if chips didn?t hold the test of time, as a proof of guarantee. The apoxy looks very solid to me and now I can enjoy a brand new countertop! Many thanks Bryan!"

"I had Joe come to my home to give me an estimate on my bathroom...He showed up for the appointment on time...Gave me an estimate with the understanding there could be issues behind the ceiling, walls and floor...When we got to that point of the construction he showed me what we needed to repair and he repaired it...He finished the bathroom within the time frame he said he would...And was charged the the contracted price....When he was at my home I had him install a floor and move some fixtures...It worked out really well...I would Hire Him and His crew again for another project,,, .Highly Recommend AJC,,, .john"

Stone Countertops questions, answered by experts

Silestone® is heat-resistant, so it can handle moderately high temperatures for a short period of time. That said, exposure to high heat can cause serious damage. You should never take a hot pan off the stove and place it directly on your countertop. Temperatures above 300 degrees Fahrenheit can leave marks or discoloration on the surface. Instead, use a trivet.

The cost to install a quartz countertop is around $60 to $150 per square foot, so it’s more affordable than high-end stainless steel. The costs are similar if you’re looking for a natural stone, like quartzite.

Any surface, including a waterfall countertop, can last decades based on a few things. First is the chosen material. For instance, quartz and granite are more durable and long-lasting than marble or concrete. Proper care also plays a key role. Regular cleaning and sealing, if required, will help any counter resist stains and damage over time.

Silicone caulk is the most common adhesive used to attach a vanity top. It’s flexible, water-resistant, and resistant to mold and mildew, which can grow in humid environments like a bathroom. While you can apply caulk without a caulk gun, the application is easier and less messy with a quality caulk gun for a more even application.

Yes, it is possible to cover old countertops with new ones. Using a countertop overlay to cover your existing countertop is a good way to get a totally new surface without removing your old countertops. This method can be more cost-effective and less time-consuming than a total replacement.
