The job was done at the appointed time, done quickly, done safely and in the best standards of the trade. The gentlemen that did the job were friendly, respectful, and receptive to my questions, and knowledgable in their answers. They were flexible in identifying work that did or did not need to be done. The initial estimate was a broad "time and materials" estimate. What might be called a "ballpark" estimate. The final price was at the lowest price of the estimate. I am very pleased !! "I called for a free estimate, Justin came promtly and inspected the chimey. He showed me pictures of the problems and spelled out all the options. I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates. To my surprise he said that he could do the job that day. He kept sending me pictures as the work progressed so I knew exactlywhat he was doing. He was professional and honest about what needed to be done. I was more then pleased with him and the company. I highly recommend .Chimneys are us."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "A great experience from start to finish! Five star all the way! The estimate was done by D0nna who was punctual, knowledgeable, experienced and pleasant. Her follow-up communication was excellent. The estimate was detailed and fair. Communications/interactions with owner/managers Steve and Mike were always a positive experience. They are very knowledgeable about the hardwood flooring business and were a pleasure to work with. Installers Charles and Craig were excellent at their craft. They were punctual, worked hard the whole day, and cleaned up at the end. We were very happy with every aspect of the flooring they installed. The flooring that we had installed was a natural pre-finished select red oak from the Hardwood Outlet in Penfield. The folks there, Oz and Levant, were very helpful and accommodating in helping us choose the flooring that would best fit our needs. We took home numerous samples before making our final selection. Like Rochester Hardwood Floors, the Hardwood Outlet is a quality operation. All around, this was a great experience and we are very happy with the quality and value of the finished product. "RUINED OUR FLOOR AND WALL AND REFUSES TO FIX OR PAY FOR IT - Contracted CS Services to mount a television over our fireplace in early July 2018. Placed a $50.00 Deposit on the contract for his services. Mr. Campbell arrived to install. He stated he would just need to cut out a section of drywall on the side or the fireplace and place a outlet cover over it. He stated he would run the wires all through the wall and we would only have the outlet visible. Mr. Campbell proceeded to cutout the outlet area and went into the unfinished part of the basement to drill into the wall area to run the cords into the outlet on our first floor next to the fireplace. Once him and I proceeded upstairs and we observed the area, it became clear that he drilled a hole in out 1 year old hardwood floor that was approximately a foot and a half away from the wall where he was trying to access. Our discussion was that I would have our floor guy, replace that section of the floor, sand and stain. He agreed at this point. I contact our flooring company Upswing Flooring (Mena Tawadros, President) to get an estimate. He sent an estimate for $1,350.00 plus tax to repair the floor, sand and restain. I contact Mr. Campbell at CS Services and we agreed that we would repair the floor on August 13th, 2018 since that was a date that Upswing Flooring had available. We discussed that we were going to a hotel on August 12th, 13th and 14th due to the fumes from the flooring repair. Mr. Campbell did not contact us and never arranged the deposit or payment for the flooring repair so I was contacted on Monday that Upswing never showed. Mr. Campbell told me that he didn't have the money and there were other things that were more important. He asked we wait. I contacted Mr. Campbell 08/21/2018 and he stated he would pay us for the flooring, wall repair and hotel reimbursement. Called and text again 10/04/2018. He returned our deposit of $50.00 and sent me another $50.00 and said thats all he has to pay."
