How did it go? In a word SUPERBLY! Brian and his team of exemplary workers, Dough, Jason, and Jeremy did a great job remodeling my garage as I had envisioned. At the end of the project, which took only a week, what I had pictured in my mind was reality! I know have a garage that I can be proud of and a backyard shed which now has lighting, so I can see the mess I have to clean up. "The torsion spring on my garage door snapped while both cars were inside so opening the door would have been troublesome. My call to Senke's was answered by a very understanding woman who canvassed her techs to see if anyone could fit in the work. Within an hour, Chris was onsite and went about the task of replacing the spring. The work was done in an efficient, neat, friendly, and workmanlike manner. He even went above and beyond by lubricating the hinges on the garage door. In less than an hour, the door was repaired, tested, and working perfectly again. I would have no reservations recommending Senke's and they will be my first call for any future garage door needs.

"I got 3 estimates on building our garage. CB Structures was a few thousand dollars higher than the other two estimates, but I chose them because of the great reviews they had received on Angie's List. Because of the steepness of our hill, we had to use a foundation instead of pole barn structure. We also had to change plans and location once we found a septic pipe in the original site.
<br /> All work was subcontracted and I generally liked the companies that CB Structures hired to do the work. The main problem was lack of coordination. There was no on-site supervisor since the supervisor for the project was stationed in Pennsylvania, hundreds of miles away. The supervisor was also very busy and conversations I had with him would sometimes not get communicated to the crew. So mistakes happened. The biggest mistake was that the masons did not build the wall according to specifications and put the door in the wrong place because they were working off an old plan. I could live with the changes, but there was no apology or admission of error. The salesman would become very defensive about any concerns expressed and would never take responsibility for mistakes. I had to hire their electrician myself since the forms he had to complete for CB Structures were too cumbersome. The carpenters apparently ran out of nails and finished the trim with staples instead. The trim started to fall off the building within two days of construction. I am hiring an outside person to nail it correctly. Two months after the barn was built, I got a bill for an additional $250. Neither the cashier nor the salesman could tell me where the charge came from or respond to my concerns. I finally figured out that they were charging me for the electrician that I had arranged myself. The original contract stated $2700 for electric, but the electrician only charged me $2450; so CB Structures decided that I owe them $250 even though I hired the electrician directly. It's too much of a hassle to take them to court, so I'll pay the $250. Overall, the building turned out well and was completed in a timely fashion, but I would never use CB Structures again and hope I've heard the last of them.

"We hired Mike to remodel our basement bathroom. He maintained excellent communication as he squeezed us in between other jobs, which we appreciated. His guys did a great job on the tile work. There was an issue with getting the glass shower door that we had selected and he was able to find an alternative. In total the job cost ~7500 which was more than we were initially looking to spend, but it came out looking nice overall.

"Garage door would not open on a Thursday after work. Saw the cable was off the drum and it wasn't something that looked like a novice could deal with. Called on Friday and they scheduled for Monday. Came on time, first thing in the morning. Got the cable back in place, adjusted tracks, tightened hinges, lubed. Has been working well ever since.

"Bonnet was great. Figures, the first big snow storm of 2016 and the garage door breaks at 8pm. I called Bonnet up the morning after, immediately got someone who transferred me to service who also picked up right away. We set an appointment for later that same day when everyone else wasn't working during the snowstorm or quoted 2 to 7 days to get out to see us in Liverpool. The tech arrived within the service window stated (regardless of the bad roads) and fixed everything in under an hour for an incredible price. Moreover, he gave my wife advice that I shouldn't have been trying to fix it myself (and he's right, I shouldn't have been) and gave some additional tips on weather stripping, etc. Literally could not have asked for better service and same day to boot.
