Referrals account for nearly 50% of our business and we take that very seriously. Now serving parts of Lee county in Florida for the winter months. Our services range from general handyman to bathroom remodeling. Jobs can be priced by the project or by the hour. No job is too big or small. Consultations are always free and can be worked around your schedule. When we are hired to do work, we never use subcontractors. Our name is too important for someone to tarnish it. The owner is always on the job and doesn't just send in a "crew" to complete the work.

"We contacted Matt to demolish a very old deck and build a new Trex composite deck, stairs and railing. The entire base support structure of the old deck needed to be replaced, including attachment points to the home that were rotted due to poor design and flashing of the prior deck. When looking for a contractor we researched many options. We eliminated contractors who seemed to only occasionally build a deck, those who had a different primary focus area, and those who did not often do composite decking. Initially, we found Matt's business listed on the Trex website as a certified TrexPro Gold installer. After then reading his positive reviews across AngliesList, Facebook, & Google, and seeing photos of many projects that appeared to be the type of work we were looking for, we reached out. Communication was excellent from the initial quote through completion of the project. The quality of the work and attention to detail was excellent. "The positive: Graves Brothers will provide a quote for PARTIAL Siding projects where most companies won't talk to you unless you need a FULL Siding project. The installation team was quick and did a nice job. The Cons: Deceptive Sales. Your Typical Residential Home Services contactor. I had a complete east side siding replacement quoted. There is a 24" "Jog wall" between the exterior garage wall and the living quarters wall. Their quote included photos that show this wall in one of the views. A second photo shows the entire length of the wall outlined that includes this jog wall, but they did not replace the siding on this wall. A conversation BEFORE the project work started questioned if I intended on having the wall replaced and it was agreed that it should have been part of the proposal. The installers DID NOT replace the siding on this wall. I asked for a simple $500 credit and was willing to settle for a $350 credit which was more than fair. The Salesman insisted that seeing the wall was not assigned a "wall number" therefore it was not included in their proposal. Graves Brothers displayed ZERO interest in coming to a mutual agreement on the discrepancy. Update 7/19/2024: After continued conversations, the Sales Rep finally conceded that after speaking with his installers, that the work WAS included in the initial estimate and should have been completed. I gave Graves Brothers the option of discounting the price or returning to finish the work. They chose to finish the work which is scheduled this week. IMO, Speaking to his installation team should have been done PRIOR to him taking a flat stance with me that they were right and I was wrong. Give Graves Brothers Home Improvements a 3-Star rating for (finally) doing what was right. The installation was done well and the installers were professional, courteous and cleaned up well. Just make sure you document all conversations and get them in writing up front."
