We called them about a group of 11 small trees needing removal, and got a call back promptly, with a representative assessing the situation and giving an estimate within a day. They gave a possible time frame of three weeks, and came in less than two weeks to do the job. The crew of six then had the entire job done in a little more than half an hour, including the grinding of all 11 stumps and an extremely thorough cleaning job afterwards. The teamwork was impressive to watch, as was the machinery they used to do the job. We were completely satisfied from start to finish, and would have no hesitation about calling them again."

The life span of a bird’s nest depends on the type of bird building and occupying it. The process of building the nest can take anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks. Cutting down a tree next to power lines is never a DIY job, and it’s a good idea to contact your utility company first. In most cases, the utility company will need to take care of any tree problems within 10 to 15 feet of power lines. If you want to remove the tree for aesthetic reasons, hire a pro to do the job. Trying to cut trees near power lines yourself can create many safety hazards, and you could be liable if you inadvertently cause damage to electrical equipment.

However, the best time to plant a tree ultimately depends on when the weather transitions to fall-like conditions and eventually winter frost. As long as the hottest days of summer have passed and the ground hasn’t frozen yet, you can still successfully plant trees.
