We called them about a group of 11 small trees needing removal, and got a call back promptly, with a representative assessing the situation and giving an estimate within a day. They gave a possible time frame of three weeks, and came in less than two weeks to do the job. The crew of six then had the entire job done in a little more than half an hour, including the grinding of all 11 stumps and an extremely thorough cleaning job afterwards. The teamwork was impressive to watch, as was the machinery they used to do the job. We were completely satisfied from start to finish, and would have no hesitation about calling them again."

Since overwatering can harm mature trees just as much as a lack of water, it’s important to know the signs of an overwatered tree. If your tree’s leaves are yellowing, wilting, or dropping leaves, it’s likely that you’re overwatering. If you realize that you’ve been overwatering your mature tree, stop watering and give the soil time to dry out. Then moving forward, increase time between watering sessions. 

In most ways, palm trees are incredibly low-maintenance. They don’t need a ton of water—which is why they’re so beloved in desert regions—and they basically prune themselves. But they do need an ample supply of sunlight and to be in soil that will allow for proper drainage so that their roots don’t become waterlogged and at risk of developing illnesses.

If the plant begins to wilt, develop spots, or change color, these could all be signs that your palm tree has a disease. But a few basic treatments, like pruning and applying fungicide, will usually be more than enough to return it to perfect health.

Yes, dead trees are dangerous for several reasons. For one, they pose a falling hazard. Dead, rotting trees can also attract harmful pests. And if the tree died because of a disease, it could spread the disease to healthy trees.
