"I am sure that all positive reviews for this company are fake. Nothing that was promised to me was delivered. My siding project is still ongoing for over 1 month. Was told that it would be done in week. Had one rain day. They have system like this: 1) sales person who never installed anything he will promise you things that obviously are not true, 2) crew that is subcontracted but not Gunner, mine was driving for over 2 hours away, 3) person who oversees the project but has little control over anything, no supply, doesn't know the crew, crew does not listen to him, main office does not listen to him, 4) main office does not reply to you. They just tell me to talk to project manager who has no control. So you understand that if there are any issue you are on your own. Quality or work is not good. Many times I had to point to the crew what's wrong, planks are broken yet they were still installing it, caulking is done they way that I can do it better, they cut wires to awning etc"

"Very well. Upon examining the chimney, Mr. Kreider recommended a rebuild, which he would not be able to do this year. He said he could replace the crumbling mortar and put cement around the chimney to make it safe. I considered it but asked if there was something temporary that could be done instead. He offered to wrap the chimney with wire mesh which would stabilize it, and do a rebuild in the spring. I was pleased with the solution and happy that his son Mike accomplished the task soon afterward."

"They showed up perfectly on time, which was great. However, after the inspection, they just said that a flue tile was cracked and the whole thing needed to be re-lined and did not touch on the fact that the crown was cracked and needed repair, which I knew from a recent home inspection. They asked if I wanted a quote to have taken care of, to which I replied definitely as I want to use this chimney, which is why I was having it looked at. I never received that quote. I also requested to have a chimney cap installed on both chimneys. When I looked at the chimneys after they left, they put a cap over one flue opening on each chimney, leaving an open flue on each chimney, which completely defeats the purpose of paying to have a cap installed. After calling and relaying my frustration, I was told that I would receive a call back. I did not receive this call, so I followed up the next day, to which I was promised Tom would call me that evening. I never received any call and was never followed up with. In summary, I paid over $400 for an inspection that told me nothing and two chimney caps that over cover one of two openings on each chimney, along with no information on the cost or process to repair the problem that they indicated."

"They did a good job but they wanted to charge me extra to put in a skylight which should have been included in the estimate. They put in the skylight but I got hit with the bill afterwards."

"I called them and told them I needed a furnace tune up and that I would also need paperwork so that I could get the $50 RGE(utility company rebate). Justina told me i wouldn't need any paperwork for it and that she would take care of it after the service was completed and paid for and that I would have to take no further action. I asked if she was sure and she insisted that this was how they did it. needless to say I never got the $50. After weeks of hearing nothing I reached out to the people at the utility company that deals with the rebate and they have no record of anyone turning in any paper work for me. So I called High Performance and spoke to Justina again and she reassured me that it was still coming and that I would still get the $50. I never did, and by this time it was too late for me to submit it myself. The only reason I was using their company in the 1st place was so that I could get the work done before the rebate deadline and they completely failed at this and I never got my $50. Their technician was supposed to be here at 1pm and they didn't show up until after 6pm. I called their office every half hour until 6pm trying to find out if he was still coming. Someone finally told me that he WAS coming but that wasn't until after 4pm"

"My chimney began to show some water intrusion. I contacted a well known chimney mason who suggested very over the top repairs which I did not feel were warranted. I called Brian Westman at Canterbury Chimney Sweeps to get his take on the issue. Brian came out and suggested a simple and direct repair which made complete sense, and was not over the top regarding the cost. Brian's estimate was well within the realm of fairness, honesty and affordability. Brian completed the repairs and the water intrusion issue was brought to an end. I plan on having Brian come and inspect the chimney every couple of years to make sure it is in top condition. "He did a wonderful job. The only part of the roof on the building it was flat the house was built in 1957 He came in and talked to me about the repair and my concern about flat roof and i was worried about it leaking again. So he told me why the way he was going to fix it would reproof against leaking and he went ahead and did that. It was difficult because it was 30 feet up but he came and he did an excellent job and its never leaked since but I was up on the roof, at least six months after it was repaired I noticed that part of the flushing around the vent it looks like its starting to come up called him and he came in quickly within the day. He went ahead and repaired it and ever since then it has been perfect. Never leaked."
