i hired Stu after having him provide an estimate to repair my chimney which had cracks causing water damage to the siding. He took down the top few feet of the chimney and rebuilt the crown and recommended replacing the entire outside of the chimney with cultured stone, which I did. The chimney looks beautiful, the job he did was excellent and his work ethic was unparalleled. He also ended up having to replace the siding on that side of the house, which was also done beautifully. I was very impressed with the finished product and would definitely recommend him. We hired Stew to completely rebuild our crumbling fireplace/ chimney. He was pleasant and knowledgeable, guiding through this project. The cut stonework he did on our new fireplace is gorgeous. Several contractors have complimented us on the quality work and asked for his name for their own use. He communicated with us daily throughout the project and worked patiently with us as we had other contractors working at the same time. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend him to anyone.

Stew came in after a mason quit on us and the difference was night and day. Go with Stew if you value integrity and craftsmanship. Rolling the dice on other characters in this industry is just playing with fire.

Stewart Masonry did a great job. I have had a leaky chimney and multiple repairs over the last ten years - very frustrating. Stewart was able to identify the problems quickly and gave me detailed information about what needed to be done. He repaired and replaced multiple rows of bricks at the top and the shoulder levels, and rebuilt the cap with concrete. New bricks and work blends fine with my 70-year-old chimney. Stewart and his assistant were pleasant, came multiple days due to rain, cleaned up, and voluntarily did little extras. Best of all, we have had several storms since, and NO LEAKAGE. Price seemed very fair and as estimated.

Stewart is very acceptable to ideas and works well with engineering into the space available to achieve the goal. He is friendly and helpful. He has a quality crew and they were respectful and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone. Stewart built us a Rumford type fireplace and chimney. It works wonderfully.
