"Very happy with the experience, the people and the price. Traps were set in various places near possible entry points, and each week for about a month, the traps were emptied and replaced. After two weeks of finding no mice in the traps, foam was sprayed into entry points and that was it. So far so good.
Jason and Cindy were very pleasant to deal with over the phone, and Sean is very knowledgeable and super efficient, and equally important, he has a great sense of humor and perspective about his work. I actually looked forward to him showing up at my house.
It's easy to see why Exterminex has such high ratings here, and there's no question that they'd be the first people I'd call with any kind of pest problem.
Thanks again!

"I would recommend EZ Pest Mgt for any bug or pest problem. Marc contacted me almost immediately and was able to come today. He arrived on time and performed a full inspection. His rate was very reasonable and he was able to lay traps, plug access points and clean up rodent waste. Even my dog thought he was a pretty good guy."

"I’m writing this review about John Gumbus, a supervisor in the termite division of Suburban Exterminating because it’s important for Suburban customers and future customers to know what a truly dedicated, conscientious and knowledgeable professional he is. About a week ago I was having a bathroom painted when the painter showed me a large opening that he made in the wall because it felt damp. He said we had termites in the wood that was exposed. It was late in the day and after business hours so I contacted the area supervisor for pest control, Bill Zecca and asked if he new anyone who could help me at this hour. He gave me John’s contact information. I called John and told him I got to him from Bill. He said he was on vacation and before I could apologize for disturbing him he asked me to give him details of why I believed I had termites. He asked me a few questions and then explained why he didn’t think I had them. He then said to send him pictures to his Suburban email. He said he was out with his wife and would be home late, but he would call me. He called later that evening and said he had good news that we didn’t have termites, it was mold. He then went into a detailed explanation of how termites present themselves. He told me what the painter should do regarding the mold. He then said he had reviewed my account and said I should take advantage of the yearly termite inspection I’m entitled to as a Suburban customer. I took his advice and had Cesar, one of their experienced inspectors, do the inspection of my entire home. It was good news again, no termites. I have to reiterate, John Gumbus did all of this on his vacation and I truly appreciate his work ethic where he helped me, a Suburban customer that he did not personally know. Thank you, John."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

No, poison isn’t the best way to deal with animals in your attic. It’s unlikely to completely eradicate the problem, especially if you don’t take care of access points. Also, poisoned animals may die and decay in the attic, causing noxious odors.

Some animals may leave the attic before the poison kills them, which could lead to nearby pets or other wildlife eating the animals and becoming poisoned themselves. Ultimately, it’s better to avoid using poison and contact a professional instead.

Generally, spring is the best time to hire a pest control service, but it also depends on when you notice the infestation. Insect pest numbers are lower in spring before they hatch, making the extermination and prevention process more manageable as nests and eggs of future pests are eliminated. However, don’t hesitate to hire a pest control specialist when you spot signs of a problem.

Eliminate standing water, use mosquito-repellent plants, and maintain regular treatments for best results.

The costs range from $300 to $2,500, depending on the severity of the infestation and the treatment method (heat, chemicals, or fumigation).

When looking for natural roach repellent options, citrus, bay leaves, cucumber, garlic, and catnip may all help to keep cockroaches away. When an infestation requires a bigger intervention, boric acid, baking soda, diatomaceous earth (DE), and soap mixed with water are all considered natural and nontoxic roach treatments.
