Customers say: Quick response

"Joe and Jeanette completely remodeled 2 upstairs bathrooms, replaced carpeting with luxury vinyl planking for the entire 2nd floor (4 bedrooms), and painted the entire 2nd floor. Their workmanship is impeccable and they worked cleanly and quietly. Everything exceeded our expectations and at a very reasonable price. We will definitely use them for future renovations."

Small jobs welcome

"We hired them to paint a small bathroom with damaged ceiling. Arek responded for a quote promptly. The price was reasonable. His worker was prompt, pleasant, did a great job - clean - no mess. They were able to accomodate us to paint basement walls when the shelving was removed for other purposes. They are currently working on a second bathroom and closet, and we have a larger job to be done soon - painting kitchen cabinets and trim. I plan to use them again next year for some additional interior painting. Very satisfied!"

"I hired twin wood artisans stain and shine for two jobs on two separate occasions because I was so satisfied with the work they did. The first job was to strip, refinish and paint a 4 piece dresser set and a separate chest of drawers. They picked the furniture up from my home and delivered it when done. The job they did on those pieces was nothing short of outstanding. The furniture was over 25 years old and they brought it back to life. All of my friends and family were in awe. I more recently hired them to design custom stair rails, and again they knocked it out the park. They are creative, friendly, experienced and professional master carpenter artisans that I highly recommend."

"The phrase "maid service" does not reflect all the professional cleaning and dusting they did on all floors and surfaces. They team listens to your requests and does the work exactly the way you want it done, with care and attention to detail. I wish I had hired them years ago. Excellent work."

Customers say: Quality work

"Anthony did a beautiful job painting my cabinets! They look brand new. He takes the doors and paints them off site, and paints the frames on-site. He helped me measure and order coordinating endcaps to complete my kitchen, and also installed the hardware. I am so much happier that I went this route rather than go through the time and expense to replace the cabinets! Anthony is very personable and always gets right back in touch with you. I would absolutely recommend Anthony’s Cabinet Shop and would use him again!"

Closets questions, answered by experts

Whether it’s less expensive to build or buy a closet depends on both the type of closet and whether or not you’d be constructing it yourself. The cost of custom closets built by a pro ranges from $1,300 to $3,800, but you may be able to DIY it for as little as $400. By contrast, prefabricated options go as low as $200 and up to $3,000, so it’s almost always less expensive to go this route.

Yes, books are typically heavier than clothes, unless you have a collection exclusively of paperbacks or comic books. That’s why packing lots of books warrants careful planning and consideration. Consider packing up your reading collection first to determine whether you need to downsize it before loading it into your moving truck.

When you are securing your DIY home office built-ins to the wall, you should start by locating the wall studs. You'll then want to use long screws to attach the cabinets, shelves, and bookcases directly to the wall studs. Your built-ins will be far too heavy to attach to the drywall alone by using anchors.

Yes, many providers offer design consultations to help optimize and maximize space, functionality, and usage. It is recommended to confirm the availability of this service with your specific installer or contractor.

You can turn an adjacent room into a walking closet by just rearranging the room. This means removing the furniture and adding racks and an island in the center if you have that in your budget. Houses with two bedrooms connected to each other are great options for large walk-in closets that don't require any structural changes or much building whatsoever.
