"The installers (Daniel & Zack) from Bath Planet went above and beyond my expectations! They were great to work with installing our new bathroom and any suggestions I had as to the install... they were incredibly receptive. Our salesman (Doug) was top notch and professional! I highly recommend Bath Planet and their team of Professionals!"

"Had a bathtub taken out and converted to walk in shower unit. The quality seems top notch and installer was great. Installation was over 2-3 days but this was due to a bad snow storm in the area with hazardous roads that caused traffic accidents. The installer went out of his way to do everything he could to expedite it while maintaining a quality install, which I feel he accomplished. Only part I did not like was the hard sell approach of the sales person. Be prepared. Fortunately I had done my research on this company and am comfortable in my decision. Time will tell how well it holds up, but the warranty looks like a good lifetime one. Would definitely use them again."

"We appreciated that he came so promptly the same day we called him, and he did not leave until we could use our water and bathroom facilities. Additional visits were required to completely remove the blockage and return the sewer pipe to full function, as it had probably never been cleaned out before. He explained all procedures thoroughly and patiently and also showed me with the camera the extent of the problem. We felt he did an excellent job and would definitely recommend his services to others."

"While in the process of extensive remodeling a structural problem was detected where the floor-joists for the second floor of the house were separating from the primary support beams. In addition another support beam was found to be structurally compromised which was the cause of the joists moving. Woodford Brothers representative came right away when contacted - evaluated the situation and reviewed a resolution plan with our contractor and myself. A part needed to be custom manufactured and that took a few days - they then came and installed that part to reinforce the structure of the second beam and then using steel cables reinforced the integrity of the building by pulling the joists back into their positions and preventing further separation."

"Fantastic! Installers were professional, on time even after the snow storm. Friendly. I wanted to fix them lunch but...they were only there to install my tub. Worth the investment. I agree with the 5.0 ratings listed on this review."

FAQs for storm drain installation projects in Bath, NY

The cost to install a drain pipe is $600 on average, but the total can range between $150 and $2,000. Some cost factors that influence your project price include the type of drain, the area’s accessibility, the proximity of existing drain lines, and whether you’re installing a new drain or replacing an old one. Replacing the p-trap or s-trap under a single fixture will usually cost around $150, while replacing a main drain pipe can cost well over $2,000.

Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

We highly recommend leaving the work of replacing drain pipes to a professional plumber. Drain pipes are a key part of your plumbing system, and making mistakes during the installation or even using the wrong size pipes for your specific fixture can lead to an elevated risk of leaks and clogs. Additionally, drain pipes prevent harmful sewer gas from entering your home, so hiring a professional plumber is essential to keeping the risk of leaks and clogs low and avoid reducing your indoor air quality.

The average cost to unclog a drain is around $200, with prices ranging between $110 and $800, depending on the type of drain and the extent of the clog. Hiring a professional to snake the toilet or sink will usually cost between $110 and $275, a bathtub or shower typically costs around $225, and a main line clog can cost between $100 and $800 based on the severity of the clog and how far beyond the access point the clog sits. Since the labor involved varies, most plumbers will charge an hourly rate for drain cleaning.

The average cost to hire a plumber is around $100 an hour but can vary between $45 and $200 an hour depending on the plumber’s experience and the repair that you need. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays, and emergency plumber rates average $150 per hour, in addition to a flat-rate trip fee of $100 to $350
