With Uxari, you and your home are connected, automatically. You choose what to connect (devices) and we do the connecting (wireless services plan). Plus, we do it for as little as $99 down with monthly payments as low as $34.99. At Uxari, you will talk to a real person when you have a question, 7 days a week. So go ahead, start enjoying your new life style, knowing answers to all your questions are only a call or an e-mail away. And the best part is all of our services come with a 30-day, risk-free trial. We believe in not only finding exactly the right plan for you, but making sure you’re completely satisfied with it, too.

"The Smart Home features they installed, such as thermostat and door locks, etc. do not always work. For example, the Honeywell thermostat can no longer be operated from our phones and is difficult to install. Remote door locks are also unpredictable."

We are a full service construction company that operates year - round. There is no job too small or too large for our team of quality craftsmen. We give free estimates and do all project work by contract. All service and maintenance work is invoiced, so you'll always have an explanation of the work that was performed. Warrantees vary from 1 year labor to 40 year manufacturer, depending upon the work being done and you can rest assured that the job will be done on time, on budget in most cases. We only use sub - contractors where job specific licensing like plumbing is required.

"When my husband and I purchased a retirement home in New York, we had no idea how to go about finding the right person to do our remodel, especially since we lived in another state. Luckily, my husband found Larry Becker of Maple City Contracting on Angie's list after a bad encounter with a shyster for lack of a better word. Mr. Becker is a highly honest, knowledgeable, and excellent contractor. Not only that, but he actually communicates with his clients. Communication for us was key; we knew the work was going to be extensive and that we couldn't do it all at once, but Mr. Becker worked us into his busy schedule and responded to every one of our emails, and believe me, we sent a lot. For all these reasons and more, we found Larry's professionalism to be off the charts. He is someone you can definitely trust. Furthermore, he and his crew do outstanding work. The craftsmanship is laudable and meticulous. Being a lover of HGTV, I had many ideas and wanted things done right. After all, we were paying for a contractor's expertise, so that's what we expected, and with Maple City Contracting, that's exactly what we got. I could go on and on about how awesome are experience was and still is with our contractor as we approach the final stages of our remodel, but I'd rather just end by saying that everyone who has seen the interior of our house, admires the carpentry and wants the name of our contractor. Mr. Becker and his team's work speak for itself. I'd give him three thumbs up, but I only have two!"

"I rented for seven years. It was a constant nightmare. No pest control, maintenance requests are just ignored or months late, rent hikes are constant. Total scum lords. Rent hikes costed me $700 monthly ($100 more each year) Told me to pay for my own pest control for the rodents and roaches at this property and won’t pay me back (totally breaks the law and doesn’t care) Using rent fixing as well. Run for the hills, hopefully these terrible deplorable peoples will shut their doors soon."

"The decision to purchase a Pella sliding door has been a nightmare. After installation it was clear the roll-up window wasn't right. Reaching anybody locally was impossible and eventually I had the joy to pay for the repair due to missing parts in the original delivered door package. This summer the slider panel fully crystalized and I will post my security cam video of it to youtube. The guess is an error in production that resulted in an exploding sheet of glass. I now have again the joy to pay for inspection, then for delivery, then for installation. Delivery was to be 21 August 2018. I thought it odd there was no contact with me, so called the day before. Just as when I had to set up the inspection of the ruined door, the 607 and 518 numbers simply ring and bring you to voicemail at every extension. I left a voicemail at the 607 number and never had a response. On the day of delivery Alyssa answered at the 518 number. She told me they had called 6 August to schedule delivery and it rang busy, but did nothing more than reschedule for 29 August, which I was not aware of. They were using a 5 year old cell phone number from the roll-up screen nightmare and never updated data despite my having shared it. In talking, Alyssa told me she will be ending the call because she "won't be talked to this way." I do believe listening to a customer getting poor service and massively inconvenienced is part of the job. I now have to stay home another day of my summer break as a teacher and will have extra bills to have the door stained and installed to match the rest of the existing unit. In addition, the mullions on the side entry door are separating from the glass. NEVER AGAIN PELLA or Crawford Windows and Doors that represent them in Syracuse and Johnson City, NY. Notice in the attached photo how every square inch of the sliding panel exploded and crystallized. This is a still shot of the video from my ADT security camera I wish you could see, but unfortunately a video can't be attached here, so I made a still shot of the first frame."

Doors questions, answered by experts

Yes, many providers offer reinforced steel, fire-rated, and electronic access doors for businesses.

If you don’t know which door sweep to buy, look into getting a strip or bristle sweep. They’re easy to find at the store, work well for most doors, and the simple installation is DIYable. Before buying one, measure your door width and make sure the one you want is long enough. Most door sweeps are 36 inches long, and you can cut them down to size with a hacksaw.

French doors can seal better, so a good quality, well-insulated French door will be more energy efficient than the best insulated sliding door. That’s because there’s no way to totally seal a sliding door and still allow it to slide past the jamb effectively.

You might be able to turn a normal door into a fire-rated door, but you’re better off purchasing one that meets all NFPA 80 standards. If you want to DIY a normal door into a fire door, you’ll need a self-adhesive intumescent seal, metal hinges, fire-resistant glazing, and a self-closing device, but you’re always better off buying a certified fire door.

Yes, you can add a door to your basement—it might even be required, depending on building codes in your area and whether or not you’re using the basement as a bedroom. A basement contractor can give you some advice on installation and help you add a door to your basement.
