"Spoke to several contractors about removing 60+-year-old trees due to circumstances out of our control that created a quick deadline for completion. Two of the trees were in a very difficult location with power lines above. Randy not only responded quickly to our call for a bid, but also was professional, knowledgeable, and honest about the project. We knew immediately he was the one to hire. The crew was professional, respectful and did a great job throughout the weeklong project. Despite complications and weather, they continued to handle themselves professionally and completed the project as promised. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing any type of work on their trees or property. We have used other tree services in the past and have been disappointed every time. I would tell anyone needing trees trimmed or removed, don't mess around with anyone else, call Northern Nevada Construction, LLC. also know as Mountain G.E.M. Services. It will be the smartest move you can make. Your project will be completed as bid, cost you less than other companies, will be completed as you wanted and they clean up the debris. You can breathe a sigh of relief that your project is done the right way by professionals who are also some of the nicest people weâve met in a long time."

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
