It was an extensive and complicated project made difficult because our home is located with steep grades on either side with limited site access. There were many unplanned challenges that they worked through and the end result is truly exceptional. Quality CurbThe job began with an 18"-wide band of pavers around 3 sides of our wooden deck, to replace some decomposed granite (DG), which our dogs would continually dig in. The next phase was to remove approx. 600 sq. ft. of sod, on a visibly sloping lawn adjacent to a concrete walkway outside the new deck perimeter pavers. Huge job! The elevation between the bottom of the "hole" where the soldier course--the bottom base-layer under the future pavers--would go and the remaining grass was over a foot. That's a lot of sod and soil to pick-axe out and haul away. They put a huge container street-side to wheel-barrow it to and then took that off for disposal. They capped all sprinkler heads, levelled the area to be paved, put in the base layers, compressed everything and installed the pavers, which had been delivered from a company in South Reno and which I had gone out and chosen from their showroom. The guys also dug a French drain along the whole back side of the wall and also installed 3 small drains at the base of the wall at the back of the paver patio for run-off in a downpour. They filled the drain with rock of my choice. Finally, to kind of frame the whole back and sides of the work, they put in a concrete curb of the same style as we have in our back yard. Clean-up was impeccable, with no debris left behind. The crew was professional, ridiculously hard-working, and masterly in their installation of the pavers and wall and benches. Tony, the foreman, checked in regularly to oversee their work and progress. Ours was a big job and it took just over 6 work days. The whole experience was pleasant and stress-free. I would recommend these guys, this outfit, without reservation. I had gotten 3 bids and Tony was back fastest (immediately!) with an explicit bid, which beat one other bidder and made much more sense than the 3rd bid, which was odd and confusing and tardy. Our back yard looks truly amazing now, even opulent. And I have 1/3 less lawn to deal with than before.- Jana S.

Absolute Landscaping IncRalph was very professional on the front end and Kevin and his crew did a fantastic job of transforming our backyard from a disheveled, barren space to a yard we're very proud of. Kevin went above and beyond by programming all of our existing sprinklers (e.g., front, back and side yards) though they only landscaped the backyard. They left the site well organized every night and were always courteous and professional. I don't know how their prices stack up against the competition, but I think the price was fair given the labor-hours, strong workmanship and high-quality materials they used. We'll call them again if we ever need additional landscaping.- Micheil J.

All Around MasonryI am so pleased with the work Brandon and his crew did. Brandon came out the day after I called. He was on time and very friendly and polite. We talked about the scope of work and he got back to me the next day with a bid. Timing was good and he could start the next week. I can't say enough about the friendliness and politeness of the entire crew. They cleaned up each day and at the end of the project (3 days to complete) everything was spiffy! New River MasonryI contacted JR for a quote on a 1000 sq. ft. paver patio. JR came out to my house and we went over my request. Within a day I had a email quote detailing the price for material, labor, etc. JR's prices beat everyone else so I chose him to install the patio. Installation started about a week after I signed the contract. JR and his team showed up on-site when they said they were going to be there. They were professional, never asked to use my restroom or for water (even though I offered). The entire job took about 3 days to finish. The craftsmanship is excellent and looks great.- James H.

All Around MasonryWe called for an estimate and Brandon arrived on time and provided the bid within 24 hours. Brandon helped with our design and was very helpful in aiding us in the combination of stone and trim colors. Some of the stone pieces had to be ordered, but Brandon and Al continued to make great progress with the stone that was readily available. One of the ordered trim pieces was incorrect - not Brandon's fault - he saw to it that they were shipped overnight. The work was completed quickly and correctly. All Around MasonryI was impressed with Brandon from my first meeting back in December 2015. He was on time, friendly and provided me with some good suggestions. Brandon was patient with us as we were not sure about our start time, and then winter hit! Finally, we reconnected around March and he again came out to the house to review the project. He didn't ask for any upfront money but rather said he would collect 50% when the work started. We found that to be very fair and honest. Brandon and his crew showed up last week to begin the project (as we had arranged), and I was very pleased with his crew. They kept me up to date as the project went along and were always very polite and considerate. The project took less time than expected, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! We will definitely call All Around Masonry again should we need any mason work done at our house and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family, friends and neighbors. They get an A + in my book! Bridges is a great general contractor - superb finish on our large project, thoughtful in subcontractor selection, virtually seamless scheduling, provided helpful recommendations and planned our cabinetry addition beyond expectations. Bridges was easy to work with while living through a renovation and completed a beautiful space for us. Some minor billing issues but we'd absolutely use them again!

This was a horrible experience. The tech came out and claimed to have repaired my gas fireplace. He started it up and it seemed to be okay. The tech went out to his truck to write up the bill. Rather than write it up and come right back, he proceeded to sit in the back of his truck and smoke a cigarette and text on his cell phone. I paid him $85.00 We do not use our fireplace much. About a week or so later I tried to start it and it would not work. Same problem. I called their office and left a message. I did not get a reply. I left at least three other messages and never got a reply. I tried again to reach them and finally reached a live person. He said that they had a lot of messages and he was trying to catch up. He told me that he would check into the matter and get back to me. He never did. I kept calling trying to get a liver person. I finally talked to a lady named Roxanne. She gave me the tech's cell phone number and asked me to call him. I called him and left a message. Naturally, I did not get a return phone call. I finally got the number of Dan, the owner. I told him of the issues that I was having. He apologized and said that he would personally take care of it. He was supposed to come by on a Saturday afternoon. I told him that I had to leave at 3:00 to go to my daughter's basketball game. He said that it would not be a problem. He called me at 2:45 and said that he was on his way. I told him that I was leaving in 15 minutes. He then asked for the fireplace brand, model number and serial number. He said he would order the part and if I did not hear from him by Thursday to call him. REALLY! I thought that this was odd since he had not even looked at the fireplace so I did not understand how he would know what part was needed. He called me the following Friday and asked me if I had ordered the part. UNBELIEVABLE! I told him that I did not order the part, would not know what part to order or where to order it from. I reminded him that he was supposed to order it. He apologized and said that he would try to make it out in a few days to check it out. I told him to forget it. $85.00 down the tubes. Dan seems deranged in some way. He called back and asked how my daughter's soccer game went~it was basketball. I personally think that he has a drinking problem but I cannot say for sure. STAY AWAY!
