"Christian and family members who showed up to repair my central air unit were some of the nicest honest folks you could ask for. They are not going to try and sell you something you don’t need. I will recommend them to everyone I know. They aren’t out to price gouge you, just fair and honest pricing!"

"My company builds custom and track homes. Finding professional, quality sub contractors is always difficult. However, after hiring Air Medic for a few jobs, I've found their crews to be reliable, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I've had my guys go back and check their work and find that the duct work and furnaces are always perfectly clean after construction. We'll continue to keep using Air Medic for my business and I'll even give personal referrals after using these guys on numerous projects"
"Jim was very helpful and personable to work with. I had recently moved to the Huntsville area and was unable to connect my wireless printer. There were also some things going on with my laptop that made me suspect a virus had somehow gotten on to it, it was running more slowly than usual, and I wasn't happy with the Win7 configuration I had done when I bought the computer. Jim came in and assessed the problems and we agreed on a time for him to take the laptop and reinstall the OS. He was able to get the wireless connection to work as well. He took the computer on a Friday evening and returned it Sunday evening in prime condition. A few weeks later I got an error message while reinstalling my accounting software so I called Jim. He talked me through the problem over the phone and I was able to get the program installed so I could use the program. Jim is great to work with, his pricing is very fair, he is prompt and reliable. I will definitely use his services again. "

Troubleshooting common issues with your AC often sheds light on a problem with the compressor. Signs that you need to replace a bad compressor include your AC blowing warm air, short cycling (turning on and off), making strange noises, and blowing less air overall. Since these problems can stem from several areas of your AC, always call a local AC repair team to confirm it's the compressor.
In most cases, you should hire a professional to carry out services on your HVAC system, as the components are complicated, expensive, and potentially dangerous to work with. However, there are a few things you can do on your own to keep your HVAC system in good condition, including changing your filters every three months, keeping the area around your outdoor condenser clear of debris and plant growth, making sure your or intakes aren’t blocked, and keeping an eye out for increased energy bills, strange noises, and unusual odors related to your equipment.
The difference between a home surge protector and an HVAC surge protector is that an HVAC surge protector is designed to protect the components inside your HVAC unit while a home surge protector is installed near appliances and meant to protect your entire home. There are three tiers of whole-house surge protectors, and they are more expensive to install than HVAC surge protectors.
Excessive humidity in a room often manifests through visible signs like condensation on windows or walls, a musty or damp odor lingering in the air, peeling wallpaper or paint, and the presence of mold or mildew. Experiencing discomfort due to a consistently clammy or sticky feeling can also indicate high humidity levels.
Yes. Your air supply should be balanced. The return and supply ducts need to maintain that balance, and this only occurs because an equal amount of air should be entering and leaving your HVAC system. Changes in pressure, extreme weather, and blocking vents with furniture or your stuff can make the air supply unbalanced and cause your home to get too cold or hot.
