"Kelly was easy to work with. Very pleasant and easy to talk to. She finished my tint job of 7 windows and patio doors in one day. She did a good job . No bubbles and the cut of the tint on glass was precise . The cost was competitive with others and she had the right shade I wanted .Will be going back to here to order some blinds for the windows."

Small jobs welcome

"Cesar worked on my window blinds that were stuck and wouldn't move up or down. He showed me what the problem was, which helped me decide that I will replace them instead of fixing them, especially since the fix would not last since the blinds were too big and heavy for the mechanism that raises and lowers them. He removed the 2 blinds as I asked him to and I'm happy to be rid of them. I found Cesar to be very courteous, professional, prompt and helpful in educating me about the issue the blinds had. I will definitely call on him again! I recommended him to my best friend within 5 minutes of his leaving my house."

"Mark fixed my dishwasher and attached a new vent on my dryer all within 25 minutes. He showed up on time and got right to work. He made sure there was no collection of lint on the bottom inside of my dryer before attaching the vent hose. He did a great job on both my dishwasher and dryer. I highly recommend him if you need appliance repair."

"If you want to hire a company that truly cares about customer service, integrity and a job well done, then Rob is your guy. He is pleasant to deal with and actually wants to make sure you are completely satisfied with your job. He arrives on time, does a fabulous job and is neat and clean. Prices are very reasonable and the window tint has a lifetime guarantee. The difference is amazing, the window tint cuts out 80% of the heat. We are so happy and would highly recommend this company!"

"Sales process was good, courteous and helpful. Installation instructions were easy to follow. Did have a small issue with one sensor which was easily solved with a call. Control panel is easy to use and well constructed. Phone app is the best part. Not a big fan of a 2 year contract and the monthly rate feels a little high, but definitely a decent system. I had emailed them a question pertaining installing on double hung windows and never received a reply, but other than that their phone support prior to that was good."

"I was happy with the tile work done. Stayed with price, took awhile but happy with work. That part was great but hired Justin to do other work - install Gable Solar Vent. Work was good but thought price was way too high (I DID NOT GET AN ESTIMATE BEFOREHAND). I have called many times for him to bring the invoice on vent but still waiting. ONLY USE THEM IF THEY GIVE PRICE FIRST!!!"

Window Tinting questions, answered by experts

ENERGY STAR®-certified windows are the most energy-efficient windows on the market. This certification means that the window meets strict efficiency guidelines set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency. While they might cost more upfront, they can save you money on your energy bills in the long run. ENERGY STAR®-certified windows lower household energy bills by an average of 12% annually.

Cellular shades, also known as honeycomb shades, are the most energy-efficient and insulating window treatments. Their honeycomb structure is made of soft fabric that forms layered cell pockets. These pockets trap air, creating a thermal barrier that reduces heat loss in the winter and blocks heat gain in the summer. For even greater insulation, consider double- or triple-cell varieties. Side-tracked cellular shades, which seal the edges of the window frame, can further minimize air leaks and maximize energy efficiency.

While it is possible to install home window tint yourself, it is a challenging task that is often best left to professionals. The process can be tedious and time-consuming, requiring steady hands and a great deal of patience, especially for a first-time installer.

Common mistakes in DIY applications include visible bubbles, imperfections, and film that either hangs over the edges or doesn't fully cover the glass. These errors not only look unprofessional and detract from your home's curb appeal but can also reduce the tint's effectiveness in blocking sunlight and heat. If you have struggled with applying protective films to smaller items like phones or tablets, you may find this task particularly difficult.

Attempting the installation yourself and making a mistake can lead to wasted material and the additional cost of hiring a professional to fix the issues or redo the job. Although hiring a professional involves labor costs, it typically guarantees a high-quality, seamless appearance and saves you from having to do the work over again.

In many cases, window tinting will boost your home value. If you’re selling your home, especially in a warmer climate, buyers are very likely to see immense value in window tinting, which improves the home’s energy efficiency and helps make the living space more comfortable. Buyers may also recognize the privacy and security improvements offered by window tinting, which could lead to them paying more for your home.

The most popular treatment for a skylight is skylight shades. There are five primary types: manual, motorized, blackout, cellular//honeycomb, and Venetian. Motorized skylight shades are the most convenient, especially for skylights that are higher up, but manual shades are the most cost-effective treatments. Cellular/honeycomb shades are a perfect option for anyone who wants energy efficiency and an attractive look.
