It was perfect They are slightly hire in price but you will quickly see why and worth every penny!"

"He did the job for me during the winter and he was great because he worked around my weird hours. He made sure that he came everyday. Excellent communication, he would call if he was ever running late. Very responsive, he just really had amazing customer service and stayed in touch with me. In addition he was willing to do what I was asking for which was a modern looking surround. He was extremely professional and friendly and I'm very pleased with his work."

Upholstering questions, answered by experts

In Reno, living room sofas, sectionals, and armchairs often require upholstery repair due to sun exposure and dry air. Outdoor patio furniture is especially prone to fading and cracking from temperature swings. Dining chairs, window seats, and home office chairs in high-traffic areas also show wear over time, making them common candidates for furniture restoration or reupholstering in local homes.

Helpful?

To make upholstering projects in Reno safer for families, select upholstery repair fabrics that are tightly woven, hypoallergenic, and easy to clean—ideal for households with kids or pets. Choose moisture- and UV-resistant materials to handle Reno’s dry climate. Avoid decorative tacks or loose trim that could be choking hazards. Opt for rounded furniture edges and darker patterns to better hide stains and wear from daily family use.

Helpful?

Your Reno home is a strong candidate for upholstery projects if you own solid hardwood-framed furniture, custom pieces, or items with sentimental value that show signs of fading, sagging, or fabric wear. Homes with built-in benches, large families, or frequent guests benefit most from durable, updated upholstery that fits the local climate and your lifestyle. Consider restoration if your pieces are structurally sound but look dated.

Helpful?

When hiring upholstery repair professionals in Reno, look for experience with local climate challenges, such as UV exposure and dry air. Ask for before-and-after photos of recent projects and check references from Reno homeowners. Ensure the pro offers clear written estimates, fabric samples suited for NV’s conditions, and a workmanship warranty. Compare several quotes and confirm the business has a strong reputation for quality and reliability.

Helpful?

Completing upholstery repair or furniture restoration in Reno can enhance your home’s resale appeal, especially in neighborhoods where buyers expect move-in ready spaces. Updated upholstery helps your home stand out in listing photos and open houses. Well-maintained, modernized furniture—especially custom built-ins—signals that the property is cared for, which can attract more interest and potentially lead to a faster sale.
