"I requested Mis Amigos to give me an estimate on clean up, and lawn maintenance. They gave me a fair price for clean up, and were available to do the job right then. They did a fantastic job. They actually PULLED all the weeds. My front and backyard looked some much better. I would definitely recommend them to a friend!"

"The job started as a tree trim. We discovered the tree was already dead, so we decided to take out the tree entirely. No other service workers from Norberto's was available that day, so he took on the job entirely by himself. No easy task!"

"After I saw how well they did cleaning up my back yard, i hired them to mow my back lawn and trim bushes/prune trees as needed. They come bi-monthly which is perfect for my back yard. They are very professional and do quality work. I have already ask them for a bid to do some additional landscaping in the front yard."

"Aaron Blake completed the tree trimming within 24 hours of the call and while I have not seen the work myself since I am currently spending the summer in my Wyoming residence, a friend who is very particular stopped by the house afterwards and said he did a fantastic job. My friend is very critical of poor work so when he says fantastic, he means it!!"

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

Choosing fertilizers: slow-release for steady nutrients, organic for eco-friendliness, or specific blends for soil deficiencies or grass types.

Mowing your grass regularly, especially if you’re mowing close to the ground, can help kill Johnsongrass. Frequent mowing helps limit the spread of Johnsongrass and can even deplete carbohydrate reserves in rhizomes over time. The more time you leave in between mowing, the more likely Johnsongrass is to regrow and take over your lawn.

Very carefully. You should be cautious when using any of the above methods, as any one of them could lead to you accidentally killing desired grasses and plants. However, there are selective herbicides that can target certain plants over others. Look for a product that only affects the type of weeds you want to eliminate and spares the plants you want to keep.

Buffalo grass does not turn green as early in the spring as some other grasses. If you have a heavily shaded yard, buffalo grass may not receive enough sunlight to thrive. It’s not as dense as some other grass varieties, so it may not feel as comfortable on bare feet.

If you have a lot of tree roots in your yard or have experienced issues in the past, you should use tree root killer every six months to prevent roots from infiltrating your pipes. If you have an active invasion and aren’t seeing results, check the instructions on the bottle to see how often you can use it in a short period of mine.
