Repaired a non functioning air conditioner (heat pump unit). Found and disconnected a broken, grounded crankcase heater power cable. Alternative was a much more expensive replacement of the heater. Was advised of risk of compressor damage when outside temperature drops too low with heater disconnected.

There were no repairs only a check up. Should have taken shoes off; or used shoe covers. Other than that all went well. Technician was very friendly and professional and seemed to be very knowledgeable.
