"If I could give it a zero I would! I don't know how they are with air conditioning, but as far as plumbing, it was an Air Pro DISASTER! This is worth the read if you need plumbing fixed. I had a leak in my master bath faucet. I called my Home Warranty company and they sent this company. The guy came out, he was nice and complimentary of our home. He cut a hole in our ceiling in the kitchen below, and said he found the leak. He cut out the pipe, replaced it and said it was fixed (after an additional $350 for "special parts"). We started using the faucet and still leaking. We called APM and they sent him out again. He cut a bigger hole in our ceiling and said that he found the leak. It was a line next to the one he "repaired". This time, he cut out a big hunk of piping and said he had to take pictures and to get insurance approval to fix it. Should he not have gotten approval first? He went out to his van and was apparently waiting for approval. I went up stairs for a few minutes. He came back in, cleaned up, and left. He said nothing more to us. What he failed to tell us was that the lines he cut included the shower and bath. My wife went to take a shower and it created a flood in our kitchen. I called APM and spoke with Erik. He took no responsibility for this! I called their office, sent an email and they wouldn't get back to me. I had to get the Contractor's Board involved. I contacted the Home Warranty company and after complaining to the BBB, they said they would send them out to finish the work. APM REFUSED to come out and fix it. The Warranty company sent out another company. The plumber that came had to rebuild all the pipes the first guy cut out. On top of all of this, the actual leak was originating from the pipe on the second floor. He found it within two minutes of inspecting the area. I would stay far away from this company for plumbing!"

"They came out to give us a second opinion our furnace repair of a suspected bad inducer motor. They gave us a reasonable quote (for 67 % less) right away over the phone for the suspected problem. Once they looked at the furnace, they found the issue was just a sensor and repaired it promptly for 90% less than the original quote from another company."

As the building is now about 35 years old, I accepted the offer and found that the attic vents were in an advance state of deterioration. I obtained three bids from different HVAC companies, each initially selected based on web reviews. Two were well-known companies that advertise a lot in Las Vegas. The other company was Step By Step, which was small, not as well-known, and new to the business. I chose Step By Step based on my experience with Eric Juarez, who was personable and forthright in presentation, and straight in answering all my questions. Step By Step provided by far the best and most reasonable quote on the work. The pricing allowed us to upgrade from R6 insulated ducting to R8. The house had original R4 builder installed ducting. The Step By Step team was scheduled and initially Miguel arrived on time to perform removal of the old duct work. Throughout the process Andrea from Step By Step kept me informed when the team would show up and what to expect. It was nice speaking to a person and not a computer or voice mail. The house is 1650 sq. ft. one level. The removal started at 2 p.m. and installation and final clean up by the team ended shortly after 6 p.m. I am happy with how the work turned out. The contract has a one-year guarantee on labor with a limited lifetime warranty on materials. One final word on what to expect during work; if you are asthmatic or have allergies move out of the house for the duration as there will be dust and insulation finding its way into your living space (you will also need to do some vacuuming and dusting afterward). Overall, Eric Juarez and Step By Step provided an excellent experience. It is nice to know the attic is no longer receiving a portion of the AC intended for the living spaces and that my cooling bill may even be reduced. Thank you Step By Step."
