"Marius and his crew Jean and Rolando are best. They installed our landscaping precisely to our draw up design. They took their time and paid attention to very small details to ensure quality work. The water rock fountain exceeded expectations and we appreciated them getting to the job on time considering how many clients they have and their work schedule. They even put in a brick pad for our trash bins after the fact when we realized we needed it. Great craftsmanship fellows. Thank you."

"We had Alliance Landscaping, Inc. install a retaining wall for us in 2011.  The staff was very kind and did a great job on our wall.  Almost two years later we were excited to find that Alliance Landscaping was still doing fine and were excited to have them come out to assist us on our 2nd phase of our project.  Jerome Maldonado came out and assisted us with ideas and options.  He was very patient and came back on several occasions to help us with changes and questions.  The project was completed in late March and just looks fabulous.  We were so excited with the finished product.  We just utilized our new outdoor living space for our sons graduation party in May and got many compliments from friends and family.
There were a couple minor details that had to be addressed after the completion of the project.  Jerome communicated that they had been a little busy, but to be patient and they would get our punch list taken care of.  The following week a few gentlemen came out and addressed all our items of concern and even helped us reset our irrigation timer for summer time.  We would highly recommend Alliance Landscaping, Inc. to all our friends and family.  They have been a pleasure to work with.  We look forward to working with them for phase III which will be a new custom waterfall."

"I hired Mr. Lint to inspect my chimney as we finished using it for the season, just to make sure everything was clean and ready for next year. They responded very quickly and were able to send someone out within two days. The whole process was easy, professional, and efficient. I really appreciate how responsive and helpful they were. I will definitely recommend them to others!"

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Your pilot light needs to be on whenever you’re using your furnace to heat your home. However, you might decide to turn it off during the summer months, when you don’t need heating. Doing this can save you a little bit of money on utility costs—just make sure you’re fine with relighting your pilot light (or hiring a professional to do it) when fall comes around and you’re ready to get cozy.

A home fire sprinkler system reduces heat, flames, and smoke within seconds. Fire sprinkler systems hide in walls with sprinkler heads running along the piping throughout your home.

When the air surrounding a sprinkler reaches a specific temperature, the heads closest to the fire activate and release anywhere from 10 to 25 gallons of water per minute.

Burning a single palm tree stump, if you’re careful, is technically doable DIY. However, you should always take precautions to control the fire and do research if you’re burning multiple types of trees.

Some trees, such as ornamental trees, black cherry, and some oak trees, release toxins into the air when burned that can be irritating to your lungs (or even dangerous) to breathe in.

If your hardwired smoke alarm keeps going off, it could be because the backup battery needs replacing. When replacing the battery doesn’t stop your smoke alarm from beeping, try holding the reset button for 15 to 30 seconds or removing dust from the openings in the alarm. If it continues to chirp, it could be faulty and require replacement.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) says you can place smoke detectors on either the ceiling or the wall, depending on the setup of your room. Since smoke rises, the ceiling makes sense, but if you go with a wall mounting, the alarm should be installed high up—no less than 12 inches from the ceiling.
