"They installed 1500sf of glue down engineered wood in my home. Mike always showed up on time and was one of the few I could get to show up and give a quote (owner-supplied wood). In the second course of wood laid he left 3 boards with a gap big enough to require putty filling when a careful installer could have pulled them up and fixed them before proceeding. Maybe 25% of the boards sound like they are floated, not a solid glue-down resonance as it should be. Although it was wiped down with mineral spirits when done, I spent about 8 hours washing off the haze left from the mineral spirits. Just an average job overall and I expected more attention to detail and aesthetics. They finished on time. Mike only showed up at the start and after it was done, except for one day when I asked him to come to look. So the installer was on his own."
