"Alan and his crew are exactly what I was expecting from a professional and efficient team. They arrived when they said they would and completed the project exactly as we wanted it. They even accepted all the curveballs we threw at them when we asked last minute to throw in some painting to the mix. The best part - our house was kept clean and livable each day after they finished working! Highly recommend and would use them again for a kitchen remodel in a heartbeat. I’ll be back when we’re ready to do our bathrooms."

"We moved to the upper valley on a well system. The water was very hard and smelled like rotten egg. We had a couple of companies come out. We decided to ask the neighbors what service they use. The majority used Clean Water of El Paso. John came out and tested our water for free and explained thoroughly what options we had. We had a Clean Water of El Paso system installed. The installers were very professional and clean. Our water is great I love it!

"Casey not only showed great customer service, he was also very transparent about the service when he thought the vent wasnt clogged up. When we decided to go through with the cleaning he found the problem and showed it to me while being informative, fast and friendly. Would definitely hire again for any issues."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

You can use the outdoor spigot to do many things like cleaning patio furniture, washing down driveways, or watering plants. You can also attach outdoor hoses and some sprinkler systems to your spigot, making it much easier to keep your grass and plants watered. When connecting a hose or sprinkler system to your outdoor spigot, pay close attention to the manufacturer’s instructions, as they can ensure a snug fit with no leaks.

A plumbing pipe is simply a container for water, sewage, or even air in some cases. Like any other type of container, it has an internal empty space, or capacity. That space is the amount of room a plumbing component has to hold liquid. That amount of room is the volume.

Replacing cast iron pipes when they’ve reached the end of their life span is key to preventing leaks and clogs. Over time, cast iron pipes corrode and experience pipe scale, which thickens the inside of the walls and increases the chance of clogs while also decreasing water flow. As the material deteriorates, you could experience costly leaks that increase reparation expenses.

Cast iron can last between 50 and 75 years, but it’s still a good idea to check for leaks as your pipes approach the 25-year mark, as pipes can already show signs of deterioration within the first three decades.

Most homeowners and many renters insurance policies cover the cost of damage from a burst pipe, as it is typically considered a sudden and accidental event. This coverage often includes not only the plumbing repair itself but also the cost to repair or replace other parts of your home damaged by the water, such as drywall and flooring. However, every policy is different, so it is wise to consult your insurance company to understand the specifics of your coverage and any potential out-of-pocket costs.

The type of valve that’s best for water shut-off is the ball valve. These are considered by many plumbers to be the most reliable type of valve, and they’re the type most used for main water shut-offs. These valves only require a quarter turn of a handle to open or close fully.
