"Master-Tech Came to my home to clean carpets and clean and polish floors. A Gentleman named Johnathan and his partner did an awesome job! While they worked steadily on my carpets and floors, they maintained professionalism and never inconvenienced me in any way. I can't say enough about their service and professionalism at all times. I will recommend Master- Tech to anyone and everyone given the opportunity. They are the Best! In a very troubled world where Customer Service is almost obsolete, and you never get to speak to a Person, I found their service refreshing and enlightling. I am 80 years old and have had to call many companies for service over the years. Some of the companies have been very kind and capable, and some have been dissatisfying at best. I don't always get treated fairly. Johnathan and his Staff make me feel like "I Matter." Thank you for your service and unyielding respect. A very satisfied customer. Be Well, Be Safe, Be Blessed. "It was amazing! Eric really changed my patio and my garage floor looks better than new new! He did some prep work-I chose colors. I am thrilled with the look he produced. I paid exactly what he bid. The job took a day in each location of my house. Very thorough and knowledgeable. It's a great addition to my home."

"Jerry stripped and resealed a very old saltillo tile floor. He also took down the old 4 x 4 Mexican tile off the wall and installed new Mexican tile for the baseboard on the wall and around the bottom of a kiva fireplace. Everything looked beautiful after he completed the job. They were on time, friendly. professional and cleaned up when they were done. They definitely take pride in their work. I would highly recommend this company.

"The technician arrived promptly.  We walked through the house to look at what was to be done, and I provided him with a written list (which I never saw again). The actual patching was very well done, but the texturing on about half the patches was not very good. I felt the need to remind the technician about some of the patches, and I had to touch up about three of the deeper patches later. Cleanup was reasonably well done with a broom and dustpan, except for one of the patches where there were bits of old drywall left on the floor. After I vacuumed, all was again in order.  I had the feeling that the quality of cosmetic work became lower as time went on.
In summary, the structural part of the patches was very well done, but the cosmetic part of the job was not.

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

To properly maintain natural stone surfaces, use pH-neutral cleaners for regular cleaning and avoid acidic substances that can cause damage or etching. It is also important to reseal the surfaces periodically, especially for porous stones, to protect the finish, maintain appearance, and ensure longevity.

The cost to polish floors averages around $200 per room, but you could pay anywhere from $100 to $300. Some factors that influence the total cost of floor polishing include the following:

  • Square footage of flooring

  • Type of floor

  • Whether you need floor repairs done beforehand

  • Whether or not you want professional floor cleaning done beforehand

Since square footage is the most significant cost factor, you might get a more accurate estimate by using the average cost per square foot for floor polishing, which is between $1.00 and $2.50.

The answer to this question depends on how large the room is and how much experience you have stripping and waxing floors. It will take at least 24 hours to strip the floors, then you must allow time for drying, waxing, waiting for them to cure, and, finally, buffing them. Since you likely will not be working for the full 24 hours, it is safe to say that this is a two- or three-day job.

Steam mops can be a better option than traditional mops because the steam can lift stubborn dirt from floors without using chemicals, and it also kills bacteria and dust mites. However, steam mops have drawbacks: they are more expensive, require an electrical outlet, and are not suitable for all flooring types, such as laminate or hardwood, which can be damaged by the steam.

Regular mopping can also sanitize floors effectively when done with the right cleaning products and techniques, though it may require more effort. The main advantage of a traditional mop is its versatility, as it can be used on any type of flooring. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your floor type, budget, and cleaning preferences.

Regular sealing, proper drainage, and periodic inspections prevent premature wear and cracking.
