"This was the Best crew and Best company we have ever worked with. So impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. The crew went above and beyound installing and cleaning up the artificial grass project. Looks so natural. They even arranged the garden boarder with perfection and artistry. The administration was also a pleasure to work with."

"We needed someone to install tile around the bathtub at an apartment unit we own. Joey at 2 Daughters Handyman came to the rescue. He quoted us a fair price based on what we could see. However, once he started the work other complications were discovered such as mold behind the existing wall. Joey and his crew were able to take care of each issue and charged us a fair amount for the extra work performed. We were very impressed with his willingness to get the job done in a timely manner. He even went to two or three places on his own to find the tile we wanted. We will definitely use 2 Daughters again and would recommend them to anyone needing his services.

"There were three guys who showed up and they were polite and got right to the problem (or so they thought). They weren't wearing masks though. I probably should have asked then to. They thought they fixed my porch GFCI, but a couple of days later it failed again. They probably should have replaced it. $100 per hour minimum and it took them 15 minutes to tighten a loose wire, but that'''s they way it goes. Now I know how to fix it myself. The GFCI is too sensitive and when it breaks the circuit it cuts power to other critical garage outlets. They told me the way the garage outlets were wired the problem couldn't be easily fixed. I went to the internet and researched a way to go around the problem and still be to code and not have to do a big re-wire project."

"These guys are awesome! They came on time and discussed what we wanted and gave us a written estimate for the work needed and started the next day. They completed the job on time. They did not leave any debris in the house, or out in the yards. In fact, they left everything cleaner than they found it! Fantastic work ethic!!"

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

It is possible to DIY complete hardscaping projects, but in most cases, hiring a professional is best to get the job done correctly. Hardscaping—including installing patios, decks, retaining walls, walkways, and water features—is challenging and time-consuming, so the money you spend on a professional is typically worth it. Not only will the quality be better, but you could avoid problems that come along with a lack of hardscaping experience, like drainage issues that can lead to costly foundation damage and leaks in your home.

The best time to plant a tree is in the spring, so the roots have time to grow into the surrounding soil before winter sets in. Some people recommend planting in the late fall. However, planting in the spring reduces the stress on the tree, as it will be emerging from dormancy, giving it the full spring and summer ahead to acclimate and put down roots into the soil.

Determining how many boulders you’ll need for your landscaping project depends on the area you need to cover and how big each boulder is. First, you’ll need to determine how big of an area you want covered, then divide that by the base surface area of the boulders. A landscape professional can help you determine how many boulders will be right for your project.

Yes, weeds can still grow in decomposed granite. If properly compacted, it can act as a good weed suppressant, meaning you’ll only pull weeds occasionally. But no ground cover is completely weed-proof. To further prevent weeds, you can try spraying your decomposed granite with distilled white vinegar.

Late August, September, and mid-October are the ideal months for planting a young tree. However, the best time to plant a tree ultimately depends on when the weather transitions to fall-like conditions and eventually winter frost. As long as the hottest days of summer have passed and the ground hasn’t frozen yet, you can still successfully plant trees.
