"This was the Best crew and Best company we have ever worked with. So impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. The crew went above and beyound installing and cleaning up the artificial grass project. Looks so natural. They even arranged the garden boarder with perfection and artistry. The administration was also a pleasure to work with."

"Josh and his wife were professionals. And they were on the ball since I called. They were knowledgeable and with a sense of urgency that I hardly see in Las Cruces any more. I guess my only concern would be who they have as a crew. The guys that did come to our site were hard working and efficient BUT I didnâ t like they didnâ t pick up their trash (from gatorade bottles we provided). They just left them in our yard. That could just be a cultural thing. Other than that we would definitely work with them again- as a matter of fact Iâ m already planning the next job as soon as weâ re done with our home remodel."

Plant a peach tree right at the end of your local dormancy period, likely at the very end of winter after the last frost when you can dig into the soft soil. Plan your backyard gardening season, including when planting peach trees, based on the frost schedule predicted in your local hardiness zone.

Unless it only rains once in a blue moon where you live, you’re going to want water-loving plants in your garden bed or pot. A few ideas for plants that aren’t super fast-growing (meaning they’re good in pots or near foundations) and can handle a lot of standing water include:

  • Acorus (Sweet flag)

  • Colocasia esculenta (Taro or elephant ear): In many climates, these are annuals, making them less desirable because you need to adjust the chain again after each replant.

  • Equisetum scirpoides (Dwarf horsetail rush): non-dwarf varieties of horsetail are fast growers and can take over quickly.

  • Juncus effusus (Curly rush)

  • Osmunda regalis (Royal fern): Royal fern can grow quickly but can also handle being crowded, making them good container plants.

A full backyard renovation can cost between $15,000 and $50,000, depending on the scope of the project. Excavation, materials, and labor costs all contribute to the final cost of updating your outdoor spaces, and expensive features like a pool, a fence, or hardscaping carry a high price tag.

Other projects that you can do at the same time as your trellis include painting the deck , installing a pergola, or adding mulch to your garden beds.

Most bamboo can send roots down two to three feet into the ground. However, when stopping bamboo from spreading, the focus is on the runner roots or rhizomes. These roots are much shallower, staying 12 inches or less from the surface, so they’re easier to find and remove. But if you want to remove the bamboo entirely, you’ll have to dig out the full root system.
