He worked with me to meet my schedule needs. Elio the crew lead that did the work was excellent as well. He and his two man crew did a fantastic job. They worked so methodically, coordinated, and very efficiently. Concrete was late and not delivered as promised, otherwise they would have knocked the work out earlier than when they did. They waited longer for the concrete than what it took they to complete the work. Elio and Bryan were very professional and easy to work and comunícate with. I highly recommend them and if I ever need any additional concrete work, I will certainly be calling them. I will save their contact information for future use or recommendation to others. "I hired this company to clean my fireplace and install a cap ($450) and clean the heating/cooling system ($1727). Due to my work schedule, I was unable to obtain an explanation of the work done when it was completed & trusted the workmanship of these people and paid over the phone before inspecting my home. Before these people arrived to my home, I had just painted the entire interior of my home: walls, ceilings, frames, doors, etc. Long story short, these people are dirty, sloppy, careless and straight up disrespectful of homes, time and money. I had scratches on my ceiling, molding, doors, walls and had my painter come back to fix their ineptitude. They offered to use my paint and come touch up what they wrecked which is a complete joke. The painter charged me $220; with much distress and difficulty, I was able to obtain $120 from these people to pay the painter. No, they did not pay the entire touch up cost. Seriously, these people are quick to charge big money claiming professionalism and super cheap when having to pay for repairs they cause. Lesson of the story: hire a bad handyman. You’ll get the same sloppy job buy at a smaller cost."

Some people don’t like the look of gas fireplaces since they don’t offer the classic charm or appeal of a wood-burning fire. Plus, gas fireplace installation is more expensive than other types of fireplace installations due to the added complexity of working with gas lines. There’s also a chance that gas could get into your home, which is a major health and safety risk.

Renovation projects that require moving a gas-powered appliance may also require moving the gas line that supplies it. The cost to move a gas line falls between $375 and $750 and will depend on how far the line needs to be moved, the cost of the permits, and how much excavation is needed, along with other factors. 

Not all gas fireplaces need a chimney. If you install a ventless gas fireplace, it will release low levels of combustion byproducts back into your living space (instead of pushing them outside through a chimney or vent). Ventless fireplaces burn fuel efficiently, so the emissions are minimal—but they could bother people with allergies or respiratory issues.

Installing a gas line is no simple task. From start to finish, you’re looking at anywhere from six to 12 weeks to acquire the correct permits, dig a trench, and connect your appliances. Naturally, the longer the gas line, the longer it will take to complete. If your plumber needs to hire additional contractors to dig trenches and navigate around or remove obstacles, this could put you at the longer end of the timeframe. 

Once the land is prepped and licenses acquired, installing the actual line may only take a few days to a few weeks, weather permitting.

DIY installation is not recommended due to the complexities of gas line work and venting; professional installation ensures safety and compliance.
