Glenns was almost half the price and after much conversation it was more than apparent that he knew what he was talking about and was a professional plan. "I have used Mr. Rooter several times over the past few years.  Once, I tried to do something to a pipe under a sink that I really shouldn't have messed with, and I ended up with a gushing leak from the pipe.  I ran around finding buckets and bowls to catch the water, towels to sop up all the water that ended up on the floor, and a phone book to find a plumber.  I randomly picked Mr. Rooter because it had a big add that said they took emergency calls.  I called, and was pretty upset, and a plumber was dispatched immediately.  He called me while on the way to my house to see if he could help me to turn off the water, but I was pretty useless.  He arrived quickly and stopped the gushing water quickly  and fixed the whole problem quickly.  I don't remember how much that cost, because I was just happy he came so fast.
I have also used Mr. Rooter to purchase a new water heater and thermostat.  The plumber was courteous, and as far as I can tell he did a good job, but there was some question about the accuracy of some information he provided about the water heater, which has been a problem.  I can't comment on how good the price was, because I didn't comparison shop.

"We pay yearly but we have this is included with our rental property. They are pretty good on most things. We had a hot water heater replaced and they did an excellent job on that. They are very quick on their response. They dont come out here. It is all done on the internet.  I just like the idea that one time service charge is so much better than trying to hiring someone to come in. It is more about convenience. It pays for itself."
