Great. After dealing with overcharging handymen, the professional service from Bonito River Services was glory. They scheduled the repairs at my cabin the very next day after giving an estimate, they were punctual and they got it done quick. It even came a bit cheaper than the estimate!

These guys are now listed under Bonito River Services Inc. J.B. was the initial man to show up, very personable young man, he had Lance show up to help him out again very personable. Work was done in an acceptable amount if time and their price was surprisingly welcome. These will be my go to plumbers from now on. I cannot and will not recommend any one else. These guys are great.

The first trip, after I had tried to light the pilot on the water heater 4 times, the wife called and they sent some one who arrived within 15 minutes. I told him of my attempts and he went right in and had it working in a couple of minutes, making me feel pretty silly. Oh well. Cost $76. We had a leaking kitchen faucet and called about installation of a new one. Lance recommended Ferguson Supply for the faucet. We purchased the new faucet (Delta) and Underwood did the installation the next morning. Lance said they were pretty booked up but would squeeze us in around noon. they arrived around 11am and went to work on the installation. As there were two plumbers we had them check out a couple of leaks we had. They replaced the drain piping in the downstairs bathroom sink and then made sure the connections were tight on the upstairs toilet. They replaced the float valve from the old ball float valve which was leaking. This was all accomplished in around an hour. As they did not leaved us a bill, we contacted the office where Lance told us he would mail us the bill. As this is a vacation home, we told him that since all mail was sent home and did not receive mail in Ruidoso that we would come by and pay. We usually find that any type of general repair services are expensive here. When my wife went by to pay the bill while out doing errands, she was pleasantly surprised by the cost of the bill. We expected a bill over $300 and it was half that, including the parts that were used. Our next project of replacing the water heater will be done by them.

They were very friendly and efficient. I was surprised in how fast they got the work done. It was $120 for the hour for both plumbers and the rest was parts and sales tax.

Could NOT have gone better. John and Lance arrived promptly with a nice 40 gal Bradford-White heater as requested (I've had good performance from this brand before) and they thoroughly installed the replacement with excellent attention to detail, making sure I was informed thoughout their installation. When they needed to change out the invalid PVC pipe for the pressure relief system, they gave me an estimate of their return time (it was approaching lunch), which allowed me to run an errand. I got back just before they returned at the time they said they would, and they finished the replacement with CPVC. They also had scheduled an inspection at my request, and they were finished before the time the inspector was scheduled to arrive. He took a look at all the work, verified everything was to code.
Very satisfied with the experience and will definitely use them again for future plumbing needs, some of which will occur this month.

Needed a plumber in the worst way but no one in the family or friends knew of one. So went to Angie's list and picked the first one, Underdown plumbing! I called and was told they would send someone out as soon as he returned to the office. He was here within half an hour.
Was very courteous and friendly. Explained what was needed, quoted a price and even gave me options to make it less expensive. Got down to business and finished very quickly.
Would I use Underdown again? Absolutely! Would I recommend to friends and family? With out hesitation.
Plumbing prices being what they are, I believe the cost was also within reason

Underdown installed a shelf and interconnects for the water filter. They insured the filters and membrane under the kitchen sink were hooked up correctly and not leaking. You would assume that this would be a normal service but unfortunately we had not been so lucky previously (our house is 2 years old.) One of the downstairs Renai's was vibrating occasionally, they found a switch problem and made an adjustment which fixed the problem. Jimmy came to the house the next day to follow up on all installations and fixes.

Very responsive. Diagnosed the problem and completed the repair quickly ...and at a very reasonable price. I will definitely use them again for my next plumbing issue!

I called and set up an appointment, they arrived when they said they would they diagnosed and found the leak quickly. They repaird the leak. Asked for no cash up front, sent me an invoice within a week. They were very professsional and courteous. I not only will use this company again but also recommend to anyone who needs plumbing work in Ruidoso NM.
