"Chimney experts was very professional in both scheduling and the job. Al was very thorough to not only look at the chimney, but also to stay with me until we had fully built a fire and had it burning long enough to run a full test of the appliance. Would highly suggest for inspection and installation- they know the business well."

"On 1/22/2018, Anthony showed up on time, he was courteous and professional. We had hardwired smoke detectors changed to FireEx & Kidde CO/Smoke combinations with 10 year backup batteries. Not even a year in and the smoke detectors woke entire household in middle of night. Had to call fire department to disarm. All units were replaced with Homedepot Kidde units. Problem is when paying for 10 year trouble free devices, you do not expect problems in less than a year. This seems like a product quality issue. Company offered to pay for replacements but never did."

"I needed my chimney cleaned and cap replaced. It took a few weeks before Jacob and Nick could be on site to clean and repair my chimney....but it was well worth the wait! All of the work was done quickly and with no mess. Jacob inspected the fireplace and chimney - pointing out a few areas that may need repair or attention in the future. I liked how those issues were assessed based on safety, severity and need to address. The cost was reasonable and I was quite satisfied with their service. I'd recommend All Season Chimney to anyone needing their type of services."

"I am very impressed with the entire project, from the initial contact and bid to the finished work. The job was done on time and on budget; the installers were hard working pros who cared about what I wanted from the finished work. The walkway was so pretty when it was done, exceeding my expectations. I look forward to to having Bill and his crew back to take on more projects at my house."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

A smoke alarm that beeps periodically, often every 30 to 60 seconds, usually indicates a low battery. The first step is to replace the battery. If this doesn't solve the problem, try resetting the alarm. However, beeping can also signal other issues, such as dust buildup in the sensors or the unit reaching the end of its life. Different beep patterns can mean different things; for example, multiple beeps might indicate an issue with a combination carbon monoxide detector, while a continuous, loud alarm means smoke has been detected. If a new battery doesn't stop the beeping, it's best to consult your alarm's manual, call a professional, or replace the unit.

Yes, windows being painted shut is a fire hazard. Because windows painted shut may have locks that stick or cannot be opened easily in an emergency, this becomes an immediate fire hazard that should be dealt with.

You should only use water to put out a fire in your fireplace in an emergency situation. Even then, it is better to use a fire extinguisher to put out a fire quickly. Make sure every room in your house that has a fireplace also has a fire extinguisher—and that everyone in your household knows how to use one.

Yes, there are regulations on using wood stoves, particularly concerning emissions and installation standards. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sets emission limits for wood stoves to ensure they burn cleaner and more efficiently. Additionally, local building codes may have specific requirements for installation and venting, so it's essential to check with local authorities before installing or upgrading your stove.

Yes, you can close off a fireplace both temporarily and permanently with extremely wide price ranges. Temporary solutions involve fireplace plugs that can be inflated to block air and deflated to open the fireplace, covers, and boards. Permanent methods of shutting off fireplaces usually involve bricking up the fireplace or covering it with drywall. No matter the method, it’s probably best to hire a professional.
