"Santos and his helper did a great job working on our storm door. After he removed the door he had to remove rotted wood that was part of the door frame. He had to cut and replace with new wood. He then did a great job replacing all the aluminum around the door frame. The storm door was then reinstalled. It was late in the day when they finished. But there was a slight issue with the door latching. The very next morning Willy called and asked if he could come over and take care of that issue. We set up a time for Willy to come and he did an excellent job fine tuning the door closure. He couldn’t have been more respectful and professional. It was a pleasure dealing with Willy. "Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

"We installed Hunter Douglas cellular shades in our kitchen and family room.  I am extremely happy with the company and the results. | |The owner, Paul, came to the house with samples.  He is a very pleasant and professional guy.  He helped me figure out the best way to cover my kitchen windows, sliding glass door and the very large expanse of full length windows and sliding glass door in the family room.  Our house has an open, contemporary design, so these two rooms need to coordinate.  I previously had vertical blinds on these windows but wanted to try something different.  We picked out cellular shades to enhance our energy efficiency and cut down on drafts in the winter.  Paul recommended the vertical sliding cellular shades for the sliding door in the kitchen and across the entire expanse in the family room.  Originally, we were going from one side to another and the quote included that, saving us some money.  When Paul came to install, he informed me that Hunter Douglas would not allow a one side slider so he had to order a split in the middle.  He did not charge me the extra cost - I was pleasantly surprised! | |He and his team were very professional, arrived on time and were in-and-out quickly.  I spent more money than I had budgeted, but I knew that the Hunter Douglas product is very good and has a great guarantee.  I love the product.  It looks great, has nice clean lines and is easy to open and close.  Now that the weather has gotten cold, I definitely notice how well it helps to cut down drafts. | |Thanks Paul!"
