"fantastic! woodland floors came to my house house i splaying what i need to get done minor show couple samplers of carpets and they measure rooms , hallway and stairs, they show on time on the date we set to do the job they custom fit the carpet for the hallway runner and stairs with wide biding job looks great! my stairs and hallway looks like they came out straight from one of those magazines"

Squeaking floors don’t usually pose an immediate safety risk. It can be the result of normal settlement, changes in humidity, or natural wear. For rooms with an even number of feet (10 x 12, for example), you can technically just multiply them together to get the number of square feet in the room (10 feet x 12 feet = 120 sq. ft.). For irregularly shaped rooms or areas that aren’t even square feet, converting to inches will be your best bet for an accurate measurement.

Some flooring companies recycle old carpet after replacing it. The broader flooring industry has been moving toward recycling more carpet material. However, whether an individual carpet gets recycled is up to the flooring company that removes it. When gathering quotes for new flooring in your area, ask each company about removal options and what they do with the material.

The cost to put wooden flooring in an attic can run a wide range. Carpeting can cost as little as $1 per square foot, or even less if you opt for unfinished flooring types like rubber or painted plywood. On the high end, hardwood floors might cost as much as $45 dollars per square foot. For a previously unused space, you’ll probably need to add a subfloor which usually costs about $5 per square foot.
