Jay helped me select the perfect floor for my home and days later a beautiful new floor was expertly installed in master bedroom. Work was done quickly and efficiently but most importantly it was done right. Great floors great deals . Very highly recommended

This company is amazing! Family owned business also so you get treated like a family member not like a job number! Right from the start when calls were answered and didn't wait for call backs to the great samples and selection to choose from down to great price! Then they show up on time ready to work and you could see these guys really know what they are doing and took pride in their work! Lexi flooring is awesome. I had them install laminate flooring in my basement a year ago. The floor came out so beautiful that I decided to do the 1st floor. The quality of laminate was much better than competitors. Jay's team is very professional and extremely fast. They do awesome work. Now I am thinking about hiring them again to do my 2nd floor.

I have wanted laminate flooring for some time. We looked at many places and finally gave Lexi floors a call after visiting their showroom. I called and left a message and heard back from the owner within 40 minutes. He came over that very day and gave us an estimate. Two weeks later they came and installed all of our floors in 1 and a half days. We are on a concrete slab and they really knew what they had to do. VERY efficient, professional and pleasant. They moved furniture (some of our pieces a very heavy and we are in our 60's), they put it back, they put in shoe moulding and they were so very nice to work with. My rooms look FANTASTIC and I could not be happier. I have had work done before by others but I never have been so very satisfied and impressed by the work that Lexi Floors, and Jay, the owner did. Earlier this week we had our heating/air system checked out and the man who came to perform this service happens to be thinking about getting floors installed in his home. He kept asking about our floors since he was so impressed by our new floors so I am sure he will now be calling Lexi floors too. I could not be happier with the service we received!

The work was very professionly done. I was happy that the workers did not take cigarette breaks..because I hate the after smell.
As it turned out..none of the workers smoked! It took 1.5 days to complete..and the results were just beautiful.

This was a nightmare from the start. After calling Lexi Floors and setting up a time for someone to come and give us an estimate we were "rescheduled" TWICE by Lexi floors for said estimate. After a week of waiting for Lexi floors to contact us we placed a 3rd phone call to Lexi floors to inform them that we would go elsewhere for our flooring needs. (This alone should have been a red warning flag). Facing the prospect of losing the job/work, Jay Selvanto (owner/Lexi floors) appeared at our home that afternoon. After Jay surveyed the job (in 7 minutes) he gave us a total price of $1650 if we paid cash (this was about an average price given to us by other competitors). Since Lexi Floors was the most local company to our home, we decided to let him do the work, and agreed that the work would begin and be completed on 4/12/12. We were told that workers would be at our home to start the job at 8:30am on 4/12/12. On the morning of 4/12/12 nobody showed up or called us. At 12 noon that day we called Jay repeatedly to see what was going on. After the 5th call was made, Jay (the owner) returned our call and gave us some long winded story about why nobody came. After this episode Jay told us that the workers would be at our house 4 days later on the 16th to do the floors. (Since my sons birthday party was on 4/17/12 and family was visiting, we had no time to seek another option) . On 4/16/12 the workers finally showed up and completed the work/job. Ten minutes after the work was completed, Jay showed up, collected the cash, and then left. Within 8 weeks of the floors being put in ALL of the defective materials (floor) and poor installation began to surface. The Laminate flooring started to peel and raise and also loosen when walked on. After calling Jay (owner Lexi Floors) 23 times with no response , we decided to call around and contact a REAL professional (for a change) because our floors looked hideous in less than 2 months. After scheduling another flooring Company to rip up and remove the defective flooring (installed by Lexi). Since my wife and I felt cheated and scammed by Lexi floors we called Jay (owner Lexi floors) a 24th time and left a detailed and curt message. Within 5 minutes Jay (owner Lexi floors) called back to give us every reason why he could not or would not come to our home to inspect the horrible mess/job that he left at our home. When Jay (owner Lexi floors) was informed that this would wind up in small claims court he replied " I have been there before" and "you live like animals". As I write this, my wife and I are filing this in small claims court. PLEASE read this review and take your flooring needs elsewhere!!! DO NOT use Lexi floors.

The job went as promised... 1 and 1/2 days.... they arrived on time.... and left at a time promised me.
You couldn't ask for anything more from these people.... they did it all. Furniture was moved and replaced
to its original spot without any problems. Felt pads were added (I brought them...and the young men installed them
for me) so that I can move the furniture for cleaning...when needed.

Old carpet was removed from property.

Jay, the owner of Lexi Floor, will be our only choice for any floor installation in the future. He and his crew arrived on time and finished on time also. They did a top notch and amazing job on our floor and even fixed part of a floor that was installed by the previous owner.
Also, they beat everyone's prices by far... and gave us advice on how to clean and care for our new floor.

The flooring in my first floor hallway, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room were worn and needed either to be replaced or given a totally new look. My wife and I opted for a new look and decided to get laminate floors in all those areas. We originally received a quote for this work from a larger carpet and flooring company who tried to sell us a low end product at an inflated price. After the aggravation of nearly getting ripped off, I did what I should have done originally and checked Angie's List for a high rated and reputable company to do the installation. With 4 "A" ratings at the time, Lexi Floors looked like a good option. When I called, the owner answered the phone himself and was able to make an appointment for an estimate around my schedule. The estimate he provided was for a higher quality product at a lower price than that from the other company. We selected a style then called him back to set up an installation date. Once again he was able to come on a day convenient for us. The owner arrived with his workers on time and the entire job took about 6 hours. I couldn't ask for a better quality of installation. Everything from the molding to the flooring looks awesome. It's like I have a new home. The transition between rooms looks perfect. (I chose to have the old vinyl flooring in the kitchen and hallway covered with the laminate instead of ripping it up to save costs.) Bottom line is Lexi Floors provides excellent quality at low price.

The install went extremely well from start to finish. The owner showed up five minutes before the time we set up to begin and they began working instantly. The workers were very polite and took great care when moving furniture from side to side. The thing i liked the most was that when i asked them any questions about the floor install they were very knowledgeable and went over every detail until i understood. They did about 600 feet or so and were all done by dinnertime. I couldn't believe how fast it went and they even filled all of the nail holes on the trim with caulk.

I called the guy for an estimate and he was at my house 15 minutes later. They were very good. They did pretty much my whole house, almost 800 feet of laminate flooring. The quality was very good. They blew everybody’s price right out the door. It was $4 a foot. I think I wound up paying $3300 for everything, which included the shoe mold and transitions, reducers, and the carpet rip-up and removal. I would recommend them. I would use them again in the future. They blew everybody's price right out the door. I called the guy for an estimate and he was at my house 15 minutes later. I am eventually going to get a floor done down in my basement. I will surely give them a call.

Lowes wanted $750 for labor alone to install a laminate floor. Lexi Floors did everything for $960, with a better grade of flooring than you can get at Lowes.

They showed up on time and did what they promised. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They were friendly; it was a very pleasant experience! :)
