He explained everything (sometimes twice) so we could understand. They were honest, up front, and were able to fix the flue liner and install flashing same day (yes, I learned new words today!). "This was a great experience for me.  I'm always nervous about hiring folks, paying too much, being disappointed with the end result, etc, ...but my mind was set to ease when working with Vinny and his team.  
I first signed up for the chimney cap and cleaning $65.  Was very pleased w/ the work done and appreciated the pictures taken when working at the top of the chimney so I could be shown.  Following, I asked him to quote chimney caps for the other chimney and 5 ash pit clean out doors with installation.  
He came back with options (3 caps on that other chimney or one custom size chimney cap) along w/ his recommendation.  He did the same on the ash pit clean out doors.  I always like when someone takes the time to extend choices and explain why they would do it a certain way if it were their house.  
The pricing was fair and I felt like I could trust him to do the job.  He communicated with me regularly over e-mail, text and calls while we were sorting products (custom chimney cap and the clean out doors) and scheduled the installation when they were ready and it was convenient for me. 
Their work and service they did was excellent.  I'm very pleased and highly recommend.
If you want someone that will guide you through it, listen to your input, price fairly and care that you're happy in the end ...look no further.

"The service was fine. The only thing is that they were really late coming. So, it was like dark when they got out of here. They left the area good when they were finished. It took them an hour-and-a-half to complete the job. They sent me a picture of the chimney. The price was great. They did show up."

From the beginning of the project at the showroom to the installation, they provided good communication and kept us up to date with delivery, provided a 3rd-party inspector to check out our chimney, and when they would be coming out to install the unit. At the showroom, they spent a lot of time with us to pick out the right unit for our space, and were patient with all of our questions. The insert provides the heat that we expected, and is a wonderful addition to our living room space. We use it almost daily from November through March, and to date, we've never had an issue. "They were great. The people there were great. Everything was great. Its a big house. I got three quotes for the roof, they weren't the least expensive, but the most knowledgeable. The person who did the whole project, also did the gutters, and the chimney repaired. Full replacement of the gutters, that was done by another company, and repaired our chimney. The skylight was the problem, and they replaced that. They were very good."

"Suggested that I needed a new furnace (because of the age). I don't remember any suggestions to having my chimney checked for any blockages( of which I have now learned later could be the source of my problem) before purchasing a new gas furnace). He did not spend any time talking about what furnaces they sell or installation prices - which was good because I did not feel any pressure to purchase anything). On hindsight, I wished that he had pulled out the burner and checked for any dirty ports, etc. (which the utility company used to do whenever I needed service) as part of the diagnostic labor.) He did spend the time allotted as per the Angie's list deal. I did request an estimate for a new gas furnace of which he provided 2 days later. I must say their response time was excellent - After I paid for the Angie's list deal (on a Saturday-12/10/16), their company called me no more than 15 mins later plus I was able to get an appointment on that Monday (12/12/16)!! "The good thing about them is that they have a cap on their price and that means if your cap is 249 and if it goes 250 or higher you pay 249 and if they go to 239 that's the price they give you. Compared to the other company I deal with they charge a better price and also to be fair their boiler technician or the guy who services the boiler is also good. Sometimes they miss a few oils and maybe it's because of my situation, I have a gate on my property so they can't come in as they please. Sometimes it's a little bit difficult because they need to call me when they are coming and sometimes they don't call, they'll just show up.They need to call the customer before delivering and that's the downside."
