"Kevin showed up on time. He fixed the following: replaced 1 x toilet valve, fixed 1 leaky toilet, replaced doorbell, aligned 2 doors that were not closing properly, and sealed gaps around the front door to reduce the draft. Will definitely call Kevin again for future handywork."

Customers say: Quick response

"Joe is the best contractor I've ever worked with. He is personable, honest and listens to his client. I was very impressed with his troubleshooting skills and frankly amazed at his craftsmenship and pristine clean up. I've hired contractors that have been sloppy and difficult to work with and I'm happy to have found joe. I will definitely be hiring him again for other projects."

"Mike was great! He called when he was on his way, was personable, friendly, easy to talk with, experienced & did a wonderful job drilling into tile & installing my curved shower rod. He even cleaned up & vacuumed up after he was done. I wanted the shower rod a little higher than the standard shower rod & Mike was very particular in order to get it just right & where I wanted it. Thanks so much, Mike!"

"Overall, very nice job done. Called when they knew would be late, careful about yard, plants, etc., cleaned up when done, adapted guards to extreme pitch of my roof, did not try to sell other services or guards. Only negative was told on phone one price range but when arrived never got the new estimate. Asked for but didn't get one. Overall job cost more than anticipated, warranted for additional hours spent but could have saved $100 with another offer if I had known final costs. Still a good job."

"Finding a Drywall installer for my project was the hardest part of the whole job, several no response or follow ups. Through Angi I got in contact with AR Drywall. Adrian showed up promptly for our walkthrough appointment and provided me a resonable estimate for the work to be performed. Upon start, we had some misunderstanding on what type of sheetrock we needed in a flood zone, but Adrian had it rectified within hours. The installation and finishing went very quickly, his crew was very efficient. After our final walkthrough, my husband and I found a couple missed spots, and Adrian himself came back twice to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I would absolutely hire again."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

No. Pellet stoves are specifically designed to burn manufactured wood or biomass pellets. Attempting to burn other materials, such as regular firewood or paper products, can damage the stove, compromise its efficiency, and even pose safety hazards due to inconsistent combustion and increased emissions. It's crucial to follow manufacturer guidelines and only use pellets that are specifically recommended for your pellet stove model to ensure safe and optimal performance over its life span.

Yes, a faulty or broken light switch can be a serious fire hazard. Malfunctioning switches, often due to loose connections, exposed wiring, or overheating, can cause sparking or arcing. If you hear a crackling, popping, or hissing sound when you use the switch, it indicates live electricity arcing inside, which is a significant hazard that can ignite nearby flammable materials. If you suspect your light switch is faulty, turn off the power to that circuit at the breaker and contact a qualified electrician to remedy the issue.

The best way to store firewood is outdoors and away from your home, shed, or garage. Stacking wood against your house can be a fire hazard and attract unwanted pests. Store your firewood under a shelter where it's protected from rain and snow but still exposed to sunlight and open air. You can lay a tarp on top to help keep moisture out.

Short circuits can cause fires, electrical burns, and electrocution, which can lead to serious injury or even death. That’s why it’s important to take preventative measures to prevent short circuits, like getting annual electrical maintenance and an electrical inspection every two to five years, depending on the age of your home.

Yes, a chimney damper is necessary. It controls airflow in and out of your fireplace, helping to retain heat when closed and allowing smoke to escape when open. Without a damper, your home could lose warmth during cold months, leading to higher energy bills. It also helps prevent downdrafts and keeps animals or debris from entering the chimney. In short, it’s essential for efficiency and safety.
