Although the job was a seemingly simple garage floor, there was extra complexity in managing water floor and flooding which had been a problem for years. Collaborative, thoughtful, and action oriented. The crew onsite, day to day, was also hard working and happy to engage with questions and conerns. "Classical Pavers did a beautiful job replacing my front walkway! It was not a straightforward project because it was built on a steep slope with a curve. The owner Thiago, who oversees the project, was a pleasure to work with -- never used any pressure tactics, was very responsive to any questions, and gave a fair price. The two craftsmen who did the work were amazing! They arrived promptly every day, worked extremely hard, and did absolutely beautiful work. They hauled away all the old materials and tidied everything up when the job was done. We definitely would hire them again for a future project and highly recommend them."

"Worse company. Sam took my kindness and scam me out of over $60,000. I hired him to expend my driveway and install artificial turf in my backyard. He told me he pulled permits but that was a lie. He also did 4 of my neighbors driveways. All of us were cited with a violation for not obtaining permits. After several back and forth for over 2 months he stopped responding. A week after he did my driveway, grass started popping out and now the driveway is crumbling. The city failed the inspection and said it has to be redone. Sam refuses to respond. The artificial turf was also installed improperly. Every time it rains, the sand underneath is moving and some spots grass is coming out. Do Not Waste Your Money. He is also not licensed to do work in Florida. He is using someone else’s which is illegal."

She was excellent throughout the process of designing the whole remodel and making suggestions for the selection of appropriate materials and appliances. This is our first kitchen renovation. We had multiple questions and changed our minds about what we wanted multiple times! Jaclyn was always patient with us, very generous with her time and accommodating. The final design is gorgeous! We are eager to see the finished product that will be delivered by Monks Home Improvement."

"Dave provided my wife and me a quote for renovations, and once we agreed, he began the demolition work. The crew knocked down the walls and installed new sheetrock in both the kitchen and bathrooms. We also decided to cut down the sewer pipes and install new PVC pipes. During this process, the first incident occurred when his crew used the bathroom and flushed the toilet, which caused all the waste to flow into the basement due to the unconnected pipes. Dave assured us he would handle the situation, only for us to discover that he charged a purchase of Resolve to our credit card to address the issue. We gradually bought all the necessary materials using a credit card supplied by my wife, while I also went online to shop at stores like Home Depot and Mayfair. After a little over a month, he finished the upstairs bathroom. In the kitchen, he managed to install the cabinets in time for the countertops to be placed. However, while the kitchen sink was installed, the plumbing was not connected to the water supply. Likewise, the kitchen appliances were not hooked up: the dishwasher remained unconnected, the refrigerator was not installed, and the smart thermostat was never set up. Only the stove and the hood range were connected. After he installed the new PVC pipes, I ran the water for a few minutes to test the plumbing. Unfortunately, we experienced flooding in our basement. Water spilled out from our old sewer line, which had not been capped, as well as from the sewer clean-out and all the way upstairs where the kitchen plumbing was not connected. This flooding caused our wood floors in the kitchen to warp and damaged the basement, potentially leading to mold issues. I confronted Dave several times about helping us clean up and remove the damaged carpets, but he failed to show up for two weeks. Eventually, we decided to terminate his services and sought professional help from other contractors. We hired Poseidon Plumbing and have evidence of debris and blockages resulting from the work done by Wise Choice Construction LLC. Additionally, we had to pay for electrical and roofing professionals on top of the plumbing costs to rectify this unfortunate situation."

After struggling with various contractors who either failed to resolve our water issues or were unprofessional, DJ and his team truly stood out. DJ was incredibly helpful, patient, and responsive throughout the entire process. Our home is a ranch with 225 linear feet around the perimeter, and while other contractors insisted on installing a French drain for the entire length, DJ recommended a more targeted approach. He proposed installing the French drain for just 80 linear feet, focusing only on the areas where water intrusion was likely. His thorough explanations and prompt responses to all our questions were greatly appreciated. The workers arrived on time, maintained a clean work environment, and completed the job as promised. If we could give 10 stars, we would! Groundworks is a highly professional and honest company that didn't try to inflate the scope of work to charge us more. We wholeheartedly recommend them."
