"I am a professional interior designer and have met many painters and seen many paint jobs. Steve and his team were among the best that I have seen. Steve is very professional, thorough and he extended himself beyond the call of duty and our agreed scope on a number of occasions. His team of two painters did not change over the whole job and took great pride in their work. The results are outstanding - our walls needed lots of preparation and you would have never believed they would end up so smooth! I invited 3 painters from Angie's list to give an estimate for our job. Steve made a point of spending the time at our house required to understand the scope thoroughly and to give a quotation. The job was involved and sizeable. His estimate did not change and when it did it was because I added to the scope or we encountered greater difficulty with wallpaper removal than expected. Steve's price was the highest but I had the greatest confidence in his ability to do the job well and I knew that the other two prices were going to increase once detailed scope was understood. Steve was also the only painter who considered how we would live in the house while his team was working. He suggested we complete 2 rooms at a time so we could use them immediately after and limit the mess at any one time. This was definitely a better approach than removing the wallpaper throughout first, which probably would have been easier for his team. We still have more painting work to do at our house and I will not hesitate to have Steve and his team back. They are a pleasure to work with. 11 out of 10!"

"Work was meticulously done. If any spackling did not dry to the painter's standard he redid it. Floors were swept/vacuumed after scraping. Drop cloths were used over rugs/furniture, paper was taped over wood floor. Some walls did not dry smoothly because of rain (and damaged walls) and he re-spackled and touched up any spots required. I have already referred him to a neighbor looking for painting/wallpapering."
