Excellent work

At the start of the job, Robert N Fowler, contractor selected by insurance company, verbally told us that it would take about 4 to 6 weeks to finish the contracted job. The insurance company gave us up to Oct 2014 to finish the job. Our mistake was not to have his estimate completion time in the contract. After seven months (from Jul 2014 to Jan 2015), he was only able to finish about 2/3 of the job. We have been asking him several times since Oct when he would finish the job but he would not give a definitive date. In our last conversation with him on Feb 3 2015, when we demanded that he give a definitive date when he would finish the remaining aspect of the job, he mentioned that there is no deadline in the contract and he will finish when it is finished. When Fowler started working in July 2014, he normally came in between 9 am to 11 am. But these gradually worsen with him coming around noon and eventually coming in after 3 pm. In fact, for the month of Jan 2015, he came in four times between 1 pm to 2 pm, twice between 2 pm and 3 pm, and after 3 pm for the rest of the month. Also, there have been 16 instances of Mr. Fowler just not showing up without any courtesy call to inform us why he was unable to work on the said date. Note these are instances where he explicitly told us the day before that he was coming. The quality of his work is also very inconsistent. The space between the walls and floor tiles was very inconsistent which ended with him using two molding, instead of one, to cover the space between the walls and floor tiles. Also, one of the existing windows could only be opened partially because he left little space for it to open.

Had paneling removed from plaster walls that were glued on. Robert gave a very fair price and was cost concious. All the spots were the plaster came off had to be spackled. For the final coat he inspected very closely to see any spots that needed to be touched up.He cleaned up daily and the final clean up was excellent. I would recommend him.

slow but good and cleans up after his job, likes to talk, but I prefer to get the job done. I really don't have time for anything else. But again prompt and neat.

Robert did a superior dry wall installation, taping and spackling job for my remodeled kitchen. He is very deliberate in his approach and takes the proper time to do the job right.

i have not began the project since still i need an electrician.

Robert did a very nice job installing the drywall in the basement area and I also increased his scope of work to include additional work. I would recommend him to anyone considering drywall installation.

He was professional, polite, and arrived on time. The work was done quickly and he made a special effort to clean up before he left. His prices were reasonable and I will use him again for other projects and recommend him to family and friends.

Robert does nice work. He's not the fastest and he is always 1/2 hour later then he says. However I am very pleased with the job and the price was very good.

Robert is extremely courteous, reasonable, and does excellent work. He either works alone or with a helper so speed is not his forte, however he is up front and manages to original time estimates provided.

Not done yet but I'm very happy.
